Katy’s Cafe is a beachside coffee shop that specializes in on-the-go breakfast food. We provide traditional coffee and espresso drinks as well as several unique creations of our own. Our smoothies are made with real frozen fruit and juice with no additives, and our take on acai bowls has become a community favorite. We have outdoor seating and are only a few steps from the beach and a wonderful ocean view.

This sandwich was honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve tried in a while!! This was the Cafe Club Sandwich. The texture of the bread was amazing, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had the iced caramel macchiato coffee which was exquisite. Perfect amount of caramel for someone who loves caramel!! Totally recommend!!! 100/10;) Just to warn you, they stop serving food at 1:30 pm, but still serve coffee and smoothies.

First time visit, I enjoyed a great latte. It is walking distance to the ocean so you can argue the atmosphere is great. Great coffee and great service! Atmosphere at the restaurant is very simple, and very welcoming.

I just LOVE this place. So adorable and other places in IB should take notes from this place. It has honed in on something IB needed. Fresh and local and Did it right. Its hard to not like what’s going on here. I’ve been coming here intermittently since Katy opened her doors and frankly the new ownership is doing just as good if not better. The simple attention to detail is much appreciated. The lattes are just gorgeous, and I love to just step in for a quick bite and drink.

I’ve been going to Katy’s for 20+ years, whenever I’m in town. I love the local vibe and surf/ mermaid theme. The bedhead bagel is my go-to, and it never disappoints. Coffee is always fresh and delicious.

The staff at Katy’s are great, the food and coffee are delicious, and there are multiple seating areas available (indoor/outdoor, front/back) to suit your mood. I tried a few places in Imperial Beach, and have ended up a Katy’s fan; I try to make it here daily for my coffee whenever I’m able.
