Customer service was fantastic the lady at the register tonight was super polite and helpful! Ordered the Spicy Salmon was surprised when I opened it when I got home and came with so much extra food which was delicious. I finished the whole tray it was so good. The prices seem only OK, but you get SO much food and such a wide variety of food in one bento box. My pork katsu (incredibly fresh, hot, and crispy) came with multiple sauces, egg, fish cake, seaweed salad, pickled veggies, house made kimchi, salad, rice, and two big pieces of sushi. It was so good I came back the next day for the shrimp katsu. My favorite Delmar Loop restaurant I sampled during my short trip.

We got the pork and tofu katsu. They came with salad, seaweed salad, potato salad, dumpling, and Korean radish and kimchi. The texture of the katsus were on point! Crispy and the batter to meat/tofu ratio was perfect! The tofu itself, however, was very bland and I would not recommend this dish. Otherwise, I will definitely come again for their meat dishes.

I’ve ate there two times now and I think the second time was even better than the first. For a brand new restaurant on the loop, this is perfect. The pricing couldn’t be better either for how fresh everything is. The sushi tastes amazing. I love the bento box with sides of everything because I get the chance to try it all instead of just eating a sushi roll. The box is also custom and just totally aesthetic. Working across the street may be dangerous as I feel myself becoming a frequent flyer at Katsuya.

This place is wonderful! Their Cheese(& Pork) Katsu was delicious. They come in these bento meal boxed that come with sides Banchan style free! I definitely would recommend everyone try their Menya Katsu as well it is very reminiscent of a Vietnamese Bao, but fried instead, very delicious. Their Sushi is good as well! And also comes obento style. Wonderfully kind people serving new dishes to the Saint Louis Scene!

Delicious authentic Japanese Katsu!!! The bento box has rice, sushi, pickles, greens salad, potato salad, seaweed salad, edamame, etc. Very good looking, well balanced, and freshly prepared. As a picky eater myself, five starts for sure.
