My partner and I had hoped this tiny place would be a hidden gem, but we’re honestly disappointed with our experience. Regardless, the food was good, especially for the price. Both pastas we tried were nice, and the spinach artichoke dip had really great flavor. Try the basil gorgonzola dressing, our server described it perfectly when she said it was like a pesto sauce. I was hesitant because I’m picky about blue cheeses, but it was a very subtle and unobjectionable flavor note, even for me.

Last time we ate here was before COVID. Came back today and enjoyed a very good healthy dinner with good service.

Lobster ravioli was good. Not a whole lot of lobster but a good flavor. The pesto dressing on the salad was awesome! My husband got the blackened salmon with Alfredo pasta. He said the salmon was really good. It looked yummy. Love the small, quaintness and atmosphere. The lady serving us was awesome! (Forgot to take a before pic, so I took and after pic instead)

Outstanding!!!! I had driven past the restaurant several times over the course of the past few months, always wanting to stop and never having time. Happened to be out one evening, (with my mom (gettin’ her nails did) and we decided we wanted to have Italian food. It was an excellent choice! The service was great, the atmosphere was incredible, and the food was out of this world. Some of the best chicken parm I have ever had. Take my advice, and get it with the fettuccine. Abruzzo’s is definitely in the rotation now. The girlfriend is in town for the labor day weekend, and we’ll definitely be going!

Food is alright. We had to ask for a bread basket after our meals arrived at the table. Entrees come with a salad. Our waitress offered the different dressing options and we asked if Caesar was an option. She said “yes, absolutely, no problem”. We get our bill and we’re charged six dollars PER Caesar salad (there were three of us). When I asked our server why she didn’t tell us there was that much of an up charge (it also does not say this anywhere on the menu), she claimed she told us there would be an up charge. She definitely did not and at any other restaurant, an up charge for a Caesar salad is like two dollars max. Very frustrated that an up charge on a side salad that comes with my entree costs half of what the entree itself costs. And to be honest, the salad itself isn’t even worth six dollars!!! The food was good but it honestly made us not want to go back.

I’ve been living in the area for a year but never noticed this place until this week. I usually have Mexican on a Friday night but decided to check Abruzzos out.

Pasta is hands down my favorite food. My first bite of Abruzzo’s spaghetti bolognese literally made me pause in joyous shock. The pasta was perfect aldente and the meat sauce was delicious! I also had their lasagna. Best lasagna I’ve had in Dallas in the 3 years I’ve been here. One of the owners suggested that I try their fettuccine aldredo…the sauce is homemade, creamy and delicious dream! It’s a tiny restaurant…but the quality and taste of the food is a towering giant of excellence. Don’t they say, big things come in small packages. Also the staff are top notch, they treat you great! I eat out 100% of the time so I have tried all the Italian restaurants in Dallas. Abruzzo’s is currently my favorite.

Best lasagna in Dallas. I’ve been told the other things are great too. The basil gorgonzola salad dressing is freaking amazing. You’re really missing out if you get anything else on your salad.

We stayed in Dallas for 2 days and had dinner here on Wednesday. The food is amazing and the staff goes above and beyond to make your time here enjoyable. The basil gorgonzola salad dressing is delicious. I had the tortellini with Bolognese sauce and I’ll be dreaming of it until I return to Dallas.
