OH.MY.GOODNESS!!!! I finally made it out to Kato Ramen!!!! This place was a complete experience!!!!!! Absolutely everything here was incredible! The fun and vibrant atmosphere, the friendly and incredible service, and of course the food!!!!! Today I had the vegan ramen with a spice bomb, and a seaweed salad. Get here early!!!! There was a line out front waiting for them to open, and it was full within minutes of opening. As a former waitress at a ramen shop for 5 years and whose mother used to make ramen noodles for restaurants, I can say that this place is legit. Shoyu and Tokotsu ramen are fabulous. The spicy miso is a bit too spicy for my liking and does not have as much miso flavor as I like in my miso ramen. My brother said that he likes a bit more fat in his tokotsu ramen. But overall the drive from Metro Detroit was worth it.

It was a good nice small ramen shop. Love the small menu and tall cellings. The ramen was delicious and flavorful. I recommend getting the tonkatsu ramen the rich pork broth and I added extra egg and pork. I wish they give more pork to be honest. Would of got higher stars for more reasons but I’ve been to alot of ramen shops..

Delicious and exactly what we didn’t know we needed. I had the Vegan sub wavy noods, my boyfriend had the Spicy Miso + mushrooms&garlic chips, a seaweed salad and hot sake. Just flat out good ramen and the greatest service. I’m drawing a blank on what our servers name was, but she was great and all of her recommendations were fully backed by the quality of the food.

Kato Ramen is a fantastic experience that Toledo definitely needed. The bustling atmosphere of the place is great! The ramen is a definite 10/10. The broth is rich and the quality of noodles and ingredients is of high quality. My only gripe is that adding an egg is $3 extra, putting a bowl at $18. Wish it would come with it or be a bit cheaper!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. BEST RAMEN I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! Seriously!! Broth is perfect with richness and flavor is incredible! Noodles are perfect texture too, fish cakes amazing as well just everything was awesome. Definitely will be coming back! Edit: Been back to this place over 6 times now and just a good every time! They do not disappoint I’m addicted lol. Will be coming back for my birthday soon too! One of my new favorite restaurants now ever!
