Katie’s is located in the Northeast corner of Steve’s Steakhouse directly off of I-70 on exit 37. We offer dine-in, take out and drive through. Katie’s has a wide variety of drink options including espresso, flavored sodas, Italian sodas decaf and diet options and teas. We also offer various sweets and treats depending on availability. We always carry eight flavors of local Utah creamery hard ice cream that can be enjoyed in cones or cups. We offer a fast friendly service for those who want to need to get back on the road or work or a comfortable dining room to enjoy your purchases. We also offer call ahead ordering.

I stopped at Katie’s Specialty Coffee, Sweets and Treats (CST) on 31 Aug 2023 to get some road trip fuel in the system. I always enjoy trying new coffee shops and supporting those smaller businesses so it was fortunate to find this place during our travels back to Las Vegas. When my wife and I walked in, it wasn’t busy at all; I’m guessing because it was later in the afternoon and a lot of people in this city/town already had their liquid fuel for the day? The young lady working the register acknowledged our arrival and greeted us appropriately which is always appreciated.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and cinnamon roll. Wow. Fresh baked and super tasty. Right next door is a steak house we ate the night before. What a great combo. Plenty of other baked goods to choose from. I’m sure they are all great.

Located in the south east side of Steve’s. This is definitely a hidden gem! I tried the S’more and raspberry moscopne cake with a butterscotch toffee coffee and a raspberry smoothie. Everything was delicious! An added bonus for me was that I could park my semi at the adjacent Philips 66 gas station.

We tried iced americano, carrot cake and banana bar in the afternoon on 7/5. The coffee were great, so as the cakes. Therefore, we went back the day after in the morning right before we left this lovely town. I thought it would be a good idea to take a nice ice americano with us for a long drive. How wrong I was. We ordered two ice americano same as the day before. This time another young girl took our order. Instead of using the espresso machine like the barista did the day before, she took the placstic cups to somewhere inside of the steak house and put hot dripping coffee inside of the plactic cups. I can tell the coffee is hot since the cups are obvious melting due to the heat. Then she poured the hot dripping coffee into other cups with ice which makes the coffee becoming a room temperature watering coffeeish drink. At first I was confuse and tried to be ok with it, but after a sip of the drink, I found out it wasn’t even coffee! It was black tea! I thought that she might take the order wrongly. I went inside and told the young lady about the problem. She insisted that these are iced americano, but she is willing to remake it. Nothing really changed the second time. she put ice into steak house drippng coffee. It turns out the same and tastes horrible. My husband threw away the terrible drink outside of the coffee shop. It was really a terrible terrible experience. I gave it 2 stars because the first time experience was good. Good luck with your visit. ♀️
