This was downright amazing. Got cheeseburgers and tried some hotdogs. The mini canoli and brownie were awesome to top it off. Sweet tea hit the spot. Absolutely worth the wait for them to make the burger when we ordered. Chicago dog, windy city dog, cheeseburger, and bacon cheeseburger.

My first visit, kind of pricey for hot dogs to be honest, BUT the quality was good. Chili cheese dog was fantastic, Polish was slightly undercooked and didn’t have the snap I was looking for. Items are cooked when you order, so it takes a minute. Service was good, I’ll give them another run soon!

Gobblin’ some glizzies at this down to Earth local joint really hit the spot while waiting for the DL office to open back up. Delicious cheaply-priced dawgs with a snap to them served up quickly by friendly staff who were busy hustlin’ between both sides of this funky repurposed deposit bank building (with a walk-up and drive-thru side). Ample free parking nearby and several shaded picnic tables in front. Cash/card accepted. Please tip these ladies y’all!

Okay so I am visiting from Chicagoland so I am going to be a little critical. I ordered the Chicago dog and got the smallest sport peppers I have ever seen and I got half of a pickle sphere. The toppings of a Chicago dog should be practically falling off, and I can only assume they did this for the convenience of the customers or something but I was a little disappointed. My boyfriend got a phillycheese and it had no cheese but maybe got confused because it was the Monday special so idk, but my dad loved his usual Italian beef with sausage. Probably the closest thing you can get to some Chicago food around here though so Im not sweating it.

You can tell they know their cheeseburgers and hot dogs. And maybe some of their desserts. But we decided with some lighter options as well. The chicken salad and the pimento cheese sandwich was subpar. We had never eaten there so we were very excited. That along with the fact of the annoyance by my questions with the lady on the phone because I didn’t know the menu? Well, I am sorry. If you actually don’t like something don’t give a good revue. I don’t care if you happen to know the person or not. I have been in customer service most of my life and own my own business so I know poor business tactics or getting by the bare minimum. I know because I have tried it before and it doesn’t work. Work on your menu, sell what you’re good, and have a nicer attitude. If you’re not treating customers like you would want to be treated go elsewhere. And if you can’t take constructive critism then please don’t be in customer service. On more than 1 occasion I’ve had to stop a fight between a customer and employee. Because the customer is not always right but I get people get aggravated especially with their money. When they someone who is sincere in serving them and not just wanting to make a buck. You will get more business. Also, why is the relish on the hotdog Christmas green?

Italian beefs are very big and quite good, but to be more Chicago authentic the au jus needs more garlic. Shame that they close at 4pm and not open on Saturdays. Look forward to going there again next time I’m in the area

This is a great place to have your taste of Chicago if you are having that craving and can’t make the trip lol but they offer great Italian beefs and the Vienna beef hot dogs (Chicago dogs) are spot on. This place surely knows the real genuine taste of Chicago food. I recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be coming back. I almost forgot the service is as great as the food with the price of great food and great service you want find anywhere that will top it.
