The Pig sandwich is huge! It’s more than enough to feed 2 people. We also got the onion petals and they are delicious!! Options for sides are French fries, tater tots, or fried okra. The building is a brick building that looks like it has some history.

This is a gem! The portions are large and the prices are reasonable! We had the calzone filled w meat! So delicious. We also had cheesy bread. Food was hot and ready when we got there to pick it up. There are plenty of places to sit inside or outside if u want. We took it to go. Great spot! Staff was great too!

I have really been looking forward to trying this place, but I will never be back. We weren’t told that we needed to order at the register and then find a seat, so we sat waiting for ten minutes being ignored. The card insert didn’t work, so it was tap only. There was no sign indicating this. The CO2 was very low and the woman told me she didn’t know what I wanted her to do about it. They were out of lemonade, so I was stuck drinking flat soda. She filled the tea dispenser while complaining that they only had three people working and it was too hot. She then threw a tantrum and was throwing dishes while clearing tables and they ended up falling on the floor and breaking. She used the table rag to mop the floor, and then continued wiping tables with it. We had to clean our own table and chairs. We were told they were out of burgers, but as we were finishing up, the table next to us got burgers. As we were leaving, I spotted the floor/ table cleaning rag at the prep area with fresh tomatoes. I think the icing on the cake was seeing her eating while prepping food. This place should be shut down until they can hire the proper staff. On the only good note, the man cooking the food is exceptional at his job. The philly was amazing. Keep him, fire the rest.

We went here on the first night of our anniversary trip and came in hangry and ready to eat. My wife ordered the Cuban and I got the White Lightning pizza. Service was quick, food came out quick, and tasted amazing. As someone who has probably eaten pizza everywhere from NYC to Chicago, this was amongst the best I’ve had. While it wasn’t a traditional pressed Cuban sandwich, my wife said it tasted better than most she’s had before. 10/10 definitely recommend eating here! Thank you guys!

Fantastic experience here would highly recommend. Had a little bit of a wait due to one staff member but he did Fantastic. Food came out hot and Food Network Level presentation. Service was absolutely excellent.

Tara, Cary and Stephen were amazing! Look at these burgers!! We added bacon. Delicious! The people were so kind and answered all our questions, as this was our first time here… but definitely won’t be our last!

Good subs and seafood, comes grilled or fried. I often get the country Cuban or the chicken BLT, both are good, large, and delicious. Tonite we had grilled Snapper with side salad, fried shrimp with tater tots, extra hush puppies. All good! And very affordable

If you are hungry in Washington County, you must make a stop at Katie’s Kafe in Wausau. This place is an unbeatable combination of spectacular food and hospitality. The crown jewel is the Saturday Prime Rib. It’s the perfect weekend treat, cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, juicy, and seasoned flawlessly. This prime rib alone is worth the trip!

The burgers are amazing and homemade definitely a favorite. We also had the onion petals, fried ravioli and pizza….all were amazing. The service was great and the Kafe was nice and clean….the best part was the great price for so much food.

The food is delicious & big portions, definitely easy to share. It also came out very quick. The restaurant itself just isn’t very clean. The one high chair they had looked like it had never been cleaned, the table markers were pretty dirty, the lids sitting out by the drinks were dirty… etc.
