Food was really delicious. The combination of Mexican and Japanese ingredients gives you and new great taste. If you love trying new combinarion of ingredients. This is a great place to go. Although the service was slow, but it is understandable because they just open couple days ago. But we planing to go again to try other different dishes.

Came here on a Saturday (I think their first one open) and it was a mess – wholly understaffed. The food looked amazing though. We ended up leaving. So we decided to come back during the week and it was MUCH better. Sat at the bar, and the bartender said it was her first day in the restaurant. She couldn’t have been nicer. Her margarita skills are great! Ordered an app of lobster tom yum soup, I ordered sushi and my husband ordered the sweet & spicy chicken. So their timing was off, and the sushi came out first. No biggie, as the other two dishes came out shortly after. Soup was DELICIOUS! Big chunks of lobster, and had a good zip to it. Sushi (Kaiji and spicy salmon rolls) were fresh and very good. Spicy chicken was large pieces of chicken, lightly breaded w a great sauce. All in all, very impressed. We’ll definitely return!

Food was delicious, only problem is the dishes came out one at a time so one dish was gone before the next dish came out, didnt all come out so we could eat together. Service was good but waited a little bit for a server to come over. Pricing is a little pricey for what you get. Overall food was good hopefully they work out the kinks!

Ate here last night for Valentine’s Day. Even though it’s their first week open, it was lively! Service was slow – understandable in their first week of operations – but it was well worth it! We started out with cocktails and an appetizer. The Spicy Geisha was delicious – the cucumber, pepper and basil made me think of my favorite Thai fried rice with every sip, and the Japanese gin was so smooth. The margarita with yuzu juice was also tasty. The birrio egg rolls were a bit dry but it only meant we ate more and more of the tasty dipping sauces served with them. We got three chef’s rolls, and the Bridge was probably the best sushi roll I have ever eaten in my life! Wrapped up the evening with one more fusion cocktail but by the time it arrived we were finished eating. I have no doubt this restaurant will earn a fifth star for being all around perfect. We definitely plan to go again!

I was really excited to try this place. Unfortunately it was very disappointing, we waited over an hour to get our food. Once we received our food everything was wrong. My Son’s chicken was RAW!! The waitress didn’t say a word about the raw chicken and just took the plate back. I asked for my steak tacos to be well done, they were medium rare and cold. The beef lomein was extremely salty! I will not be returning!

The food is genuinely delicious!!! I am a tough critic when it comes to sushi and this immediately became my fav spot. The bao buns are to die for and the katana roll is so fresh and delicious. The atmosphere could use a little help but tbh the food outweighs the mid decor.

Starting with the good. My husnabd and I got drinks, bao bins, and sushi. All were phenomenal and tasted amazing.
The bad, the waitress barely visited our table, we wanted another round of drinks and desserts but gave up waiting. The hostess noticed we were sitting there with empty plates and drinks and finally came over. We finally got our check and paid using the QR code on the receipt because we rarely saw our waitress and didn’t want to wait even longer. We left and the waitress ran out after us saying we didn’t pay. We used the QR code and I showed her the emailed receipt. She profusely apologized and did look ashamed but that was extremely embarrassing to accuse us.
I don’t know if we’ll come back. The food makes me want to say yes, the absolutely atrocious service makes me think no.

Pros: the food is really delicious! They executed on this fusion concept really well. I had the Birria eggrolls, teppanyaki tacos, and Katana Sushi roll. The Birria eggrolls combined the crunchy egg roll shell with a dippable Birria and cheese sauce really well. The tacos came with an amazingly fruity and spicy hot sauce that was very unique. The katana sushi had an amazing smokey salmon flavor with a good texture and firmness level. For foodies, this is a must try.
Considerations: The price/portion size ratio is higher than your typical Mexican restaurant, so come with that understanding. The quality and execution of the food is there, but for me and my budget, this would be a place I come every few months as a treat vs regularly.
