Tried Katana sushi for first time after reading the reviews and Reddit posts.
Ordered roughly 6 types of rolls and I cannot point out even one worthy roll. Sushi doesn’t taste fresh and tempura had a weird flavor/ taste to it.
Spicy tuna didn’t even have a hint of spice in it.
I eat sushi often in different places but this was most disappointing one. I feel supermarket sushi could be a better competition to this one.
Overall my experience based on the taste is 3/10

This place is a hidden gem in a West Lafayette strip mall. We went for a late lunch on a Friday, and it was not too busy. We sat in a really private booth, and the place has an excellent vibe. The menu had several vegetarian options, and we tried the miso soup, MAC roll, garden roll, and the vegetable tempura. Everything was great, but we both liked the garden roll most. The prices were really reasonable, and they had lunch specials. This was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be back.

Good food and service. Bento Box is the best and the Sushi lunch special is great too. Ramen Noodle & Don is good too. The Tempura fried Ice cream is a must try and you will love it. Just keep in mind that the whip cream is melt fast, don’t wait.
