This place delivered a genuinely satisfying experience from start to finish. We went for the Kashmiri Tower Special, chicken karahi, loads of naans and finished with a mango lassi, and every item hit the mark.

The Kashmiri Tower Special was a real highlight – generous portions, well presented, and packed with flavour. It’s perfect for sharing and gives a great variety, making it an excellent choice if you want to sample more than one dish.

The chicken karahi was rich, aromatic, and cooked just right. The balance of spices was spot on, with a deep, comforting flavour without being overpowering. You could tell it was freshly prepared, and it paired beautifully with the rest of the meal.

To round things off, the mango lassi was smooth, refreshing, and not overly sweet – exactly what you want after a hearty meal.

Overall, delicious, authentic food with generous portions and great flavour. A solid choice if you’re after comforting Kashmiri and Pakistani-style dishes done properly. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience at Kashmir. The chicken tikka masala was rich, flavourful, and perfectly spiced, and the naan bread was fresh, soft, and ideal for scooping up the sauce. I also ordered a mango lassi, which was smooth, refreshing, and not overly sweet — a perfect complement to the meal.

Service was excellent as well; our waiter Faria was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Overall, fantastic food and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys quality Pakistani cuisine.

Always have such a beautiful meal at Kashmiri in Bristol. Family vibe and atmosphere, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Starters and mains are made to perfection and suits my whole family to their tastes. It’s a very peaceful place to enjoy dinner with the family.

The best Pakistani food I’ve ever had in Bristol. Each dish boasts an incredible taste that truly reflects the authenticity we’re accustomed to in Punjab, Pakistan. There are no issues with the flavor; it’s spot on. While the service could improve, I believe it will enhance over time. We the group of 15, thoroughly enjoyed the inviting atmosphere and the delicious food, and will definitely be returning to support your establishment in the future and inform others. Keep up the great work!

Went to Kashmir restaurant for an iftar with some friends today. It was a brilliant place to break our fast. Offering free dates on the table and a jug of water without even asking was a beautiful touch from the restaurant, I really appreciated it.

To start off, the restaurant was laid out beautifully with wonderful art décor and nice lighting. Really creative, I must say. I ordered poppadoms as a starter, and they were delicious, especially with the mint sauce, which had a bit of a spicy kick to it. They complemented each other really well.

I also ordered the Blue Lagoon, which is the blue drink you see in the pictures below. It was a nice, tasty drink, but slightly too syrupy for me. That said, it didn’t ruin my taste buds, hehe.

Since there were four of us, we decided to order the Kashmiri Tawa Special for 4 to 5 people, and I’m glad we did. It was beautiful, and everything on the plate was delicious. I especially loved the green chicken tikka and the fish, wish they’d given me more fish because it was absolutely scrumptious.

I also loved the chops, they were juicy and tender, and as soon as I bit into the meat, it melted in my mouth like hot butter through a knife. We also ordered cheese naan bread, which went down really well with the curry they served. I think it was Lamb Madras.

The Lamb Madras was nice and spicy, but not spicy enough to kill off the taste buds. The chef did an excellent job cooking it.

My only complaint was a weird looking guy sitting opposite me. His lazy eye kept following me like he was trying to make Bad Boy for Life his personal anthem, and his other eye kept twitching like he was on some madness. Made me a bit uncomfortable, but I powered through it. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely come again.

Looking at the impressive reviews, I was pleased to see a place serving Pakistani cuisine in a restaurant as you don’t get many options in Bristol. I was really disappointed with my dining experience, and I would not recommend anyone to visit here expecting quality unless you are okay with mediocrity.

My first impressions of the restaurant were very well indeed as the exterior and interior of the restaurant is well displayed. They have definitely spent a lot of expenses to make the restaurant look extravagant, although looks can be deceiving.

I had arrived around 7pm which is granted the most busiest time for dinner, Hardly any parking as it is just off the M32 before J3 which has restrictions in parking although the restaurant does insist on parking anywhere you please, however this results in homeowners having their driveways blocked so drivers should avoid this.

The service wasn’t spectacular per se, nor was it existent, short staff perhaps that day as from the time we ordered our food, we had waited 2 hours. Yes, 2 hours. We had also been asked to move tables after we got comfortable to accommodate other tables guests which turned out was for nothing. Never in my life has this happened. Perhaps don’t over book? There is very limited seating available as it is a small place, which makes it exclusive unavailability and a very tight space.

Our table ordered the Channa Curry, Spinach Curry, Chicken rice, Tikka Masala, and Plain Rice with drinks and Lassi (very watery). As mentioned above, the food took forever to arrive. When the food finally did, I was really shocked on the food portions, like seriously. It did feel like I was being scammed. All you are getting are dishes with 15cm diameters with 4cm depth to them, which are worth £12/15. The food was barely warm, and Channa Curry was gone off. I was left still hungry. We sat with other tables complaining and getting comped with Lassi, and we felt like we wanted to complain as well, but we didn’t want to cause a scene which the other tables did.

The atmosphere did feel tense as the waiters looked very stressed and everyone waiting for their food. Classic Pakistani songs playing over terrible speakers.

The only good thing I can say about the restaurant is that it looks great but doesn’t mean anything if it doesn’t serve its purpose to quality. I do hope the reviewers can see this as an opportunity to take the criticism and make a change for the better.

“Had a wonderful experience here! The restaurant offers truly authentic sub-continent food with rich flavors and generous portions. The ambience is awesome, warm and inviting, making it perfect for both families and friends. The quality of the food was excellent, and the staff were very caring and attentive throughout our visit — in particular Nawar, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommended and definitely a place I’d love to visit again!”
