I loooove this place. I got the hibachi steak and chicken dinner. Some hot sake and some gyoza and it was crispy! Dumped the yum yum and jalapeño sauce into the hibachi and it was soooo goood. Definitely a new favorite of mine. And the service is wonderful. So glad a place like this is in canton. Only got photos of food after the fact because I couldn’t stop.

Great food each time I’ve been here. This time was a bit crowded so service took a little longer than usual. I tried the new Caterpillar Roll with avocado and eel sauce. I recommend,

I had the weekend special. I thought the sushi was the main dish. Was I wrong! The ramen noodle bowel was huge. I enjoyed all the food. The ginger salad dressing was really good. My vegetable croquette was piping hot and flavorful. The gyōza (a side order) was nicely seasoned. My sister-in-law got the gigantic “Combo for One.” (pictured) She very kindly shared with the rest of us. Most dinners include salad and miso soup. I recommend Kasai.

This was a good restaurant. Had a lot of good options on the menu, however, I think the food could have used a bit more of what some call “flavor”

We came here for a friend’s birthday. We made reservations, which I would recommend for a weekend evening as this is a popular place. This is some of the best sushi you can get in the area. All of the food was excellent and it was fun to try a sake flight. The menu offers a variety of authentic sushi and Japanese dishes. My group likes sushi, but there are pleanty of offerings here for vegetarians, those who do not like sushi or sea food, or those who prefer fully cooked offerings as well as those with adventurous sushi appetites. The atmosphere is cool and cozy here. I can’t wait to go back!

I ordered the chicken and veg tempura dinner – chicken was good, but vegs were greasy. Didn’t receive the soup that came with the dinner or the cream cheese we paid extra for on the Shrimp Shumai. Lots of added fees and then tip! Sad to say we’ll skip this place next time.

From the moment we sat down, our attendant was all about making our visit SPECIAL. I choose to call him an attendant, not waiter, because that is what he did. He attended our every need most graciously and even effervescently! He offered us special soup, special salad, and guidance through the experience of a sushi sampler. (I’m still rather new to experimenting with sushi) I found out VERY much to my surprise that I even liked eel, though the octopus was a bit beyond me. My wife was not yet “sushi-ready.” All the food was excellent. With current price increases everywhere, this was still moderate pricing. My wife’s meal was well under $20, mine was over only because I had the large sushi platter. We were treated like royalty, seriously. I look forward to returning.

Best sushi in Midwest. Covid has made it difficult for sushi restaurants to get fresh fish and knowledgable help. They try hard here, but you will have to be patient. Best to come early in the week and early in the evening.

Wonderful little place. Had the New Orleans sushi roll and my husband had the steak and shrimp habachi. Came with soup and salad and dipping sauces. I also had the ginger martini which was just delicious. Would recommend.
