Excellent Indian restaurant in downtown Redwood City serving authentic and delicious food. Service is fast, food portions are generous, prices are fair, they sell Indian beer, free WiFi, and excellent staff! Visit here if you’re looking for a quick bite of some great priced and delicious Indian food in Redwood City! Pictures attached!

[The Food]
The food here blew us away! First, they start you off with some snacks that are complementary! They offer reasonably priced Indian beer and the entrees are affordable as well. When the food came, it was delicious and the portions were almost too much! Which is great! We ordered the Chicken Tikka Marsala (recommended) and the Lamb Curry (also recommended)!

[The Service]
Service here is also great. We came on Sunday around 1pm and the two gentlemen here were super professional, attentive, and quick! We got our food in less than 10 minutes. The portions are very good for what you pay. This is my wife’s favorite restaurant in Redwood City – so we’ll certainly be back now.

[The Location]
The location is right off of Main Street in Redwood City, surrounded by several other shops and stores. The area seems safe. They have outdoor seating but it’s limited. We took a star away since there was very limited shade and we had to move inside. Recommendation for the owner: try to get some more shade on the outdoor seating if possible! Otherwise, they are very COVID safe, there is alot of room and the restaurant is VERY clean.

Definitely give this place a shot! You will love the food and service here.

Great Place to sit & Eat or get a To-Go. Small area but Employees are good/honest,helpful. You get 2 Parle-G biscuits along with Chai taking back to the nostalgia of having an evening snack with 2 Samosas. Little on higher priced side for Chai and Samosas (2.50 per samosa or 2 for $4).
But the place is really neat and they have the Indian style plates and glasses for Water. Interiors give a good look to it. Simple Decorations inside but they just add the looks for the inside.
Definitely try this place if you live nearby or drive by this side of Redwood City !!!

Ordered a bunch of dishes on ezcater for a corporate event and was quite disappointed. Dishes were not very flavorful and meat portions didn’t really have that much protein. Not spicy or complex flavors filled with classic Indian spices. Missing items in the order as well.

Rather poor experience – food quality and quantity was more like that of a food truck and prices of a full service restaurant. The pictures are deceptive when placing an order – a full side shows up in a handi and comes in a small bowl. Chapati is seen as freshly cooked puffy and comes as a microwaved frozen packaged flat roti. Explains why right across the road Zareen’s is booming while this place isn’t. As a case in point see the picture of the dishes attached – costed $30!!

After the movies we went next door but didn’t want to wait for one crew doing all the work so we came here. Not a big fan of Indian cuisine but I like their naan burrito style tikka masala. Nice setting inside or outside.

Decided to try it out after hearing good things. The ambience and seating was inviting. Everything was downhill from there. The portions for a naan wrap weren’t good (plus zero sides) and the lamb curry was pale and had weird flavor. My guest had a thali which was passable. Perhaps the highlight was the chai and the lychee lemonade.

They really need to do better with take out…it was so pathetic how little effort they put into it. It was smooshed together and looked terrible. The flavors were good but so sad how little they care to make it look presentable. I got huge bites of pure bread

$5 for 5oz chai? Do yourself a favor and get better chai for $1 from across the street. To be fair, the drink might have come in a small 8oz container, but it arrived half full.

Re owner’s reply: Wow, is sorry too much to ask for? I’m not here to put up with your passive aggressiveness.

Stopped for a quick bite, ordered half-sized lamb curry to go and was pleasantly surprised.
Lamb was tender and well seasoned. Portion size was also generous given it only cost $5+$1.

The Thali was quite good, the burrito not so much. I would love to try some of their other offerings. Beautiful ambience, loved the choice of decor!
