Food is more than enough. Excellent flavor, large portions. They have the best refried beans of any place I have been in Mississippi. I had several different options there and not one of them have disappointed. Yet every time I’m there, the waitress is horrible. You have to stand up and get her attention for a drink, you have to ask her for to go plates, napkins, you have to ask for your check, you have to ask for salsa, The most un attentive waitress I have had every single time I’ve gone. I will continue to go, but I will definitely get a different waitress. Marleny needs training. You can understand if this is her first waitressing job and she’s only been there a couple of weeks, but I have been there several times over the past couple months. Cell phones are no place in a restaurant when you have customers.

Food was just ok, asked that my husband’s burrito not have any green pepper in it and it was loaded with them and my corn tortillas were not hot. Staff is friendly and unfortunately the kitchen was short-staffed so our food took awhile and not hot. We get hit or miss service here.

Went in one Wednesday night with a friend and they were open. Figured we would try it out, and I am glad we did. They weren’t incredibly busy. The atmosphere was very welcoming and nice. Music isn’t too loud, and overall it is a rather relaxing restaurant. They have their own sauces that are home-made, and they are very delicious! I ordered their Rice Lover’s Wednesday deal of Karibé Rice with steak and chicken. It wasn’t long before we received our meals. Most restaurants do not season the meats. Karibé perfectly seasoned the meats both in their own way. It was great. Only issue is that there was a tad too much queso on the plate, but that is a MINOR issue. I enjoyed my meal and the restaurant and would highly recommend it to my friends and family!

all the cinco de mayo festivities, Karibe accommodated our last minute birthday celebration and were fantastic! We dropped in with a large group and they didn’t hesitate to get us seated. The staff, food, and atmosphere is top notch! Go check them out!

This is our second time eating here, the first time I got a grilled shrimp dish and a chile relleno on the side. I would NEVER order either again. The rice and beans were good though.
This time I got a salad (black bean) and a horchata. Both were yummy. I would come back simply because my husband has tried a couple other places here and he’s not like any.

Everything was great! We loved the table side guacamole and the chips were the good ones, not the thick store bought kind that a lot of places serve.
I’d highly recommend coming here even though literally everything in Madison is difficult to see or find because all of the signs look alike.
