Come here about once a month when we’re in town shopping. Had some dental work earlier in the week and didn’t want to attempt the bread, so tried the unwich. #5 Vito wrapped in iceberg lettuce, and it worked quite well. Nice change and different in a good way.

Ordered delivery, my Chicken Caeser Wrap wasn’t wrapped correctly first off. Second, missing the pickles I ordered. Third, I found a hair in the wrap. I called the store and at first, I was told that my order would be delivered again. After 30 minutes, I called to check the status and was told I would receive a refund instead. It’s ridiculous there is no communication with the customer about this and issuing a refund instead of resending the order, like they were told.

Do not go to this location!!! I absolutely love Jimmy Johns, but this location ALWAYS messes up my order. I do not like mayo, so I always make sure I tell them that. At least 50% of the time there is still mayo on my sandwich. Today was the last straw. I ordered the Vito, which doesn’t even come with mayo, and there is mayo on my sandwich!! WHY?!!!

I left Wimberley and I wasn’t that hungry, but by the time I got to San Marcos I was pretty hungry. Luckily, Jimmy John’s in just on the other side of IH 35 so I just stayed on 12 and drove just past Lowe’s to Jimmy John’s. The parking was easy and the people are friendly. They made the sandwich really fast and I was able to get a bit to eat and go finish my business.

For reference, I love Jimmy John’s and their food gets a consistent 5-star rating. Counter service was closed when I went, only drive through was available. I’m not usually a fan of drive through but I was in a rush and I know what I’m getting at JJ will be enjoyable. From getting to the end of the line of cars to the ordering speaker took 6 minutes. I waited 17 minutes at the speaker before I was asked for my order. Following that, it took me 7 minutes to get my sandwich. This is a total of 30 minutes. Not only is this not, “freaky fast,” but it’s not even fast food. I would avoid this particular restaurant and visit the next closest, 20 minutes away in either direction. Luckily, the food was excellent as always and my order was correct.
