I enjoyed my dining experience at Karam. The food was delicious and came very quickly. The serving size was generous. They offer an American breakfast and brunch menu of sweet and savory items of pancakes, French toast and salads. They also serve a Middle Eastern/Yemeni menu with tasty traditional dishes like foul and shakshuka. The interior is nicely done in neutrals and earth tones.

This brunch house is absolutely beautiful. I just wish the execution of the kitchen matched the vibe of the dining room decor. I ordered the veggie omelet which took about 30 minutes to hit my table(much too long as far as standard breakfast joints go.) And this thing was absolutely LOADED with onions. I’m serious I think it was at least a cup of chopped onions and a few little pieces of chopped mushroom here and there. I ended up just scooping out all of the onions because thankfully the omelette was open faced. My friend ordered the wilberry waffle and she got an EXTRA helping of the wild berry jam? Sauce? Idk but it was clear that was just to cover up the fact that the waffle was burnt.

The only thing that saved the experience was our server who was super sweet and honestly was just trying her best!

Also I was super sad the N/A bar was not functioning! I was looking forward to it :/

The food wasn’t good, the chicken was raw and not cooked, the appetizers hummus and baba taste horrible looks like they were leftover from yesterday. The meat taste was nasty. The salad wasn’t fresh. The only thing that tasted good is their sambouse.

This was our first time here and we were impressed right away with how quickly we were seated. Service was fast and attentive, and the food came out quickly as well. The pressed caprese was outstanding fresh, flavorful, and honestly gave me that “food high” feeling. We’ll definitely be back!

The first red flag was cleanliness. Other than the wait time for food that took 35-40 min for some foul and some eggs , The cups we were given were visibly dirty, and the plates were greasy to the touch (not just shiny, but actually oily as if they hadn’t been properly washed). That immediately made us second guess everything coming out of the kitchen. The food itself was extremely oily and heavy. It lacked balance and didn’t feel worth the price point at all. For what they’re charging, you expect presentation, flavor, and quality that matches, and the plates simply did not reflect those prices. As for service, It really did feel the servers themselves were polite and trying, but there seemed to be a management problem. The flow of the restaurant seemed disorganized, poorly directed, and lacking proper leadership. We immediately agreed the issue was with management. There are other brunch spots in the area doing a significantly much better job. Avenue Brunch House delivered much cleaner presentation, better value for the price, and a more organized dining experience. The overall quality of this place did NOT meet the prices charged. Please don’t waste your money here!!!

Had breakfast here today and the service alone is enough for 5 stars. Very respectful and helpful staff, beautiful atmosphere, and the food was amazing, fresh, and delicious! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

As incredible as the food was that’s how awful the service was. We came in half past noon on Dec 14th, the hostess gave us a table and menu but the server never came to get our order, after we flagged another server did our actual server make an appearance. After taking our order he brought us our bill when we hadn’t been served our food or drinks. As per him, the drinks were taking a while so he didn’t charge us for them and we paid. We sat after paying for another hour when he came back and asked us if we were waiting for a to go order like what? we told him we hadn’t received our food or drinks he seemed surprised and then went to get our food. We ordered a medium well steak however the steak was overcooked, tough and was served with no steak knife, the meat was so tough the table shook as we tried to cut it. The server didn’t come to check on us to see if we needed anything or we would’ve asked, he came back once to give us the extra cutlery we asked for after we ate half our meal, we just took the cutlery set from another table at the start of the meal so we didn’t need the one he brought as that point. Our entire meal was over and yet no drinks made it. At that point we left Karam and walked over to Qahwah house and got our drinks there. The server did come to qahwah house after we got there and told the barista to give us the drinks we want, my husband and I ordered as normal which tells me that Qahwah House probably never got our drink order from our server.

The service was bad they were late with everything. We order tea and it didn`t come. The bread isn’t enough. The decor was nice.

We visited for the $35 Iftar buffet and had high expectations. The atmosphere was beautiful, with an inviting design and pleasant ambiance. However, upon entering, the sticky tile floors were immediately noticeable and gave an unclean impression. The seating arrangements were uncomfortable. The tables for two were very small—more suitable for one person—and the bench seating required us to hunch over while eating. Although we moved to nearby chairs, comfort remained an issue. Unfortunately, the buffet selection was limited and items frequently ran out. The lamb was overcooked and difficult to cut, the hummus was runny, and the soup lacked flavor. While the fresh bread was excellent, it couldn’t compensate for the dry meat and poor-quality dips. Serving plates were inconsistent; we were initially given small dishes, later standard plates, and eventually they ran out altogether. The drinks were enjoyable but limited in variety, and there were no tea or coffee options. Disappointingly, dessert was not included.
Overall, the experience did not justify the price. We left disappointed and would not return or recommend this buffet.

The Karam shakshoka is laughably small for $19 it can’t feed my nephew. He’s 6. Also ordered a cappuccino that never came. Food is ok but the prices for the portions r insane . The waitress was great no complaints love her but the food was not it.
