So happy I finally got to try Karai Kitchen — and it did not disappoint.

As someone who’s Bangladeshi, I’ve always wished for a truly authentic Bangladeshi restaurant (not the usual Bangladeshi-Indian fusion), and this place absolutely delivered. Everything tasted just like home.

Since it’s Ramadan, they were offering mostly special Ramadan dishes along with a few regular favorites like morog pulao (chicken rice), beef curry, and rui fish curry — and every single dish was flavorful and comforting. The standout for me was the dahi bora — hands down the best I’ve had in a long time.

I left feeling so happy and satisfied. I can’t wait to come back outside of Ramadan to explore more of their regular menu. If you’re looking for authentic Bangladeshi food, this is it.

Since it Ramadan they open at 4 pm. Also, if you want to do take out order, make sure to order the day before as they do book up due to Ramadan rush.

Service was great too, everyone was super friendly!

Karahi Kitchen is a fantastic new Bangladeshi restaurant that truly stands out for its authentic flavors and quality food. The menu offers a great variety of traditional Bangladeshi dishes, and the taste is absolutely joss—rich, flavorful, and cooked just right. Every dish feels fresh and well-seasoned, reminding you of home-style Bangladeshi cooking. If you enjoy bold spices and authentic South Asian cuisine, this place will not disappoint.

The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot for family dinners or casual meals with friends. The staff is friendly and tries their best to accommodate customers, even when the place is busy. Since it’s a new and popular restaurant, it can get quite crowded at peak hours. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for your food, especially during weekends or dinner rush, so patience is needed.

Despite the waiting time, the food quality makes it worth it. The flavors, portion sizes, and overall experience more than make up for the delay. It’s clear that care is put into preparing each dish properly rather than rushing it.

Overall, Karahi Kitchen is an excellent addition to the Bangladeshi food scene. With amazing food and authentic taste, it easily earns a 5-star rating. Just be prepared for a longer wait during busy times—the food is absolutely worth it.

Great food, great service, great prices!

Had an excellent experience at Karai Kitchen. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — the Morog Polau, Mrigel, and rice were absolutely delicious and very well portioned for the price. Everything tasted authentic and satisfying.

Customer service was outstanding — friendly, welcoming, and attentive without rushing us. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get, which makes this place a great value.

Highly recommend Karai Kitchen if you’re looking for great food, fair pricing, and excellent customer service. Will definitely be coming back! ️

Karai Kitchen is a fantastic spot. The restaurant is clean, modern, and feels very new.

The portions are generous, especially with the rice dishes like Kaachi, Polau, or Bhaath. One order is definitely comfortable enough for two to share. The bhorthas are perfectly jhaal and absolutely approved.

My personal favorites were the Shutki Bhuna and the Kaachi. The Bohrani was also delicious.

Since they are a new restaurant, the service is still finding its rhythm but you can clearly see the potential.

Overall, if you are craving authentic Bangali food and do not feel like cooking at home, I highly recommend stopping by Karai Kitchen.

Went to the opening.
Tried the Tehari, it was refreshing to finally taste bangladeshi homely tehari, with all the bangali spices.
They gave complimentary pudding and jorda as desert too.
I hope they can keep doing business for a long time so that bangalis can have a bangladeshi place to eat with friends.

The place is also very cleanly decorated!

Stopped there on a Sunday for lunch. We were a group of 12, including 3 small kids.

Here goes my not so happy issues :

1. The ordering process is chaotic. You need to walk upto the display counter and put in your food as well as drinks order. Then you return to your table as they bring you the food. If there are others ahead of you.. all of a sudden you find yourself part of a ‘food mob’… poor server ladies struggled as people talk amongst each other deciding, un-deciding, and revising their orders…

2. All food items needed to be heated in microwave and then served… Which means they did not have warmer or a hot counter for all those food trays in display. It also caused delays in food delivery.. Some of us finished eating while others were still waiting for theirs to arrive. Kids got their food too late.

3. The owner needs to accept tips separately… Since this is our first time, I let it slide easily…we split our $330 food bill 3 ways amongst friends… Each party paid $20 in tips.. We paid $60 in total tips, which the owner charged as part of the food check -. 3 separate charges of $130 each. I objected and he said sorry he doesn’t have a system to accept tips separately… What a shame. I hope those 2 ladies gets their due tips, they deserve it.

4. The servers need to stay a little up beat and jovial. They lacked the basic hospitality attitude that we expect. Perhaps, because they are not getting their tips… Who knows….

The food was good and I will return.. Hoping the service and atmosphere improves rapidly. I told the owner that I will write these on Google review.

For a $93 order, the portion sizes were surprisingly small and very underwhelming. The flavors were mediocre, and the food quality needs significant improvement. Essential condiments such as onions, green peppers, and sauces were missing as well. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We drove over an hour to go to there for Iftar buffet. I have to say it was worth it. We were greeted by a friendly server who went over all the dishes they had at the buffet. There where two sets of food for dinner and Iftar both included in the price. Being from Bangladesh, I crave authentic Bangladeshi food but is hard to find in USA. The food here was as authentic as they come which took me back to my childhood days. Often Indian and/or Bangladeshi food can very spicy for my wife but the spice level over here was perfect for her. The restaurant is fairly new, the decor is nice and very clean. The buffet is during Ramadan only. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Bangladeshi food.

I was in the West Palm Beach area for work and came across this restaurant by chance. As soon as I saw Bangladeshi food, I decided to give it a try. The food was good overall, and as a Bangladeshi, I was genuinely happy to see authentic Bangladeshi cuisine available in South Florida.

That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The menu needs better organization and clarity. Several items listed were not available. If certain dishes are prepared on specific days, the menu should clearly indicate day-wise availability.

I was surprised by the portion size of the Aloo Bhorta for $4—it was very small. The Beef Kolija Bhuna tasted good, although it wasn’t entirely kolija (liver). The tea was good as well.

One concern was the automatic 15% gratuity. This was added without the server informing me beforehand, which felt unexpected.

I would suggest offering combo meals—for example, rice or pulao with a protein and sides—priced as a complete set. This would make ordering much easier. Adding brief explanations of each dish on the menu would also help non-Bangladeshi customers understand the food better.

Additionally, a visible Halal sign on the door and on the website would be important and reassuring for customers. The entrance door also appeared dirty and could use better upkeep.

Overall, I appreciate having real Bangladeshi food in this area. With improved menu organization, portion consistency, transparency, and cleanliness, this place has great potential. I hope the owners continue to maintain quality so more people can enjoy our food.
