Have been eating at Anmol for years now. Now under new ownership but same amazing taste & friendly staff. Having had Pakistani food in several states in U.S, this place has by far the best Mutton Biryani & Kabab Platter. Karachi Restaurant, formerly known as Anmol, is now under new ownership. I’ve ordered from Anmol many times in the past and have always had a good experience, so I was curious to see how things would be under the new management.
I recently hosted a party for friends and family and ordered catering from Karachi Restaurant. Overall, the experience was excellent, and I wanted to share some feedback.
Dishes we ordered:
Chicken Biryani – absolutely excellent; one of the best I’ve ever had. Very flavorful with a rich aroma.
Beef Nihari – excellent.
Poori Paratha – excellent.
Beef Seekh Kabab – very nice, moist, and perfectly cooked.
Bihari Chicken Boti – good.
Doodh Dulari – excellent.
Sooji Halwa – good.
Chana Papdi Chaat – very good.
Chana Masala – okay.
Butter Naan – very good.
Delivery was on time, and the service was excellent.
Before placing the final catering order, I did a tasting of the dishes. At that time, everything was good except for the Seekh Kababs, which were disappointing—hard and dry. I was actually considering removing them from the menu.
However, my wife suggested that I speak directly with the owner and explain what I was expecting from a proper Seekh Kabab. I reached out, shared my concerns, and the owner personally assured me that the recipe would be improved and encouraged me to keep the kababs on the menu.
I’m very glad I did. At the event, the Seekh Kababs turned out excellent—moist, flavorful, and exactly how they should be.
I truly appreciate not only the quality of the food but also the owner’s willingness to listen, improve, and follow up personally. That level of care made a real difference in our experience.
