I had the pleasure of dining at Kaow Thai in Warwick, QLD, and I can confidently say it was one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The service throughout the entire evening was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and professional, without ever feeling rushed or intrusive.
Now, the food — absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with fresh ingredients and authentic Thai flavours. We tried a variety of items from the menu, and each one was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The balance of spices, herbs, and textures was spot on — clearly made with care and passion. Whether it was the rich, aromatic curries or the perfectly crispy spring rolls, everything was simply delicious.
What stood out the most was the consistency — every dish was as good as the last, and we could tell that quality is a top priority for the team. It’s rare to find a restaurant that nails both flavour and service so well.
If you’re ever passing through Warwick or are lucky enough to be a local, Kaow Thai is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back!
But what really made my experience was the staff. They were incredibly warm, attentive and genuinely lovely. You can tell the staff actually enjoy being there, which makes the whole dining experience so much nicer.
Amazing food, beautiful vibe, and truly kind people. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it.

Omg, it was delicious cannot fault anything we had from mains ti dessert. Yummo
The Thai tea toast for dessert was devine !!!
After an epic drive and an utterly exhausting day, all we wanted was some easy takeaway to devour back at our motel. What we got was… an adventure!
First hurdle: finding the place! For out-of-towners, it felt a bit like a scavenger hunt tucked away in a shopping section. We eventually triumphed, but a clearer sign or location description would have saved our tired brains some serious effort.
Then came the price reveal. Gulp! For three can drinks, a regular fried rice, and two other regular dishes, our bill tipped over $110. Our wallets definitely felt lighter than expected, especially compared to similar spots we’ve tried (the same Thai meals/drinks at home usually cost around the $63 mark).
The service was… fine. The staff were polite enough, but they seemed a tad flustered and unsure of who was next in line. It wasn’t the warmest welcome, but hey, we were just there for the food, right?
The Main Event: Foodie Feedback!
Now, for the grub itself. The fried rice was genuinely good – a solid win! However, our cashew chicken was sadly quite gristly and chewy, making it a no-go for us. ️Big bummer there.
The third dish was a bit of a mystery. We think it was beef, but it definitely wasn’t what we ordered. Since it was all sealed up in the bag, we only discovered the surprise when we were back at the motel. A bit of a “what just happened?” moment!
Overall, the food (aside from the chicken mishap) was just okay. It filled a gap after a long day, but it didn’t exactly sing. Would we order again on our next trip? Probably not, unfortunately. It was an experience, that’s for sure! ♀️
The stir fried veges was nothing but carrot. Honestly. No flavour at all.
The pineapple fried rice had one small piece of tinned pineapple pieces chopped into tiny pieces. Cheap skates.
End of this one for us!
MUST TRY WHEN YOU ARE IN WARWICK. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
Must try: Pad Thai, Beef Fried Rice, Massaman Curry and the Drunken Noodles.
The owners are very nice and friendly and the staff.
The place is cozy enough to enjoy your food and talk with your friends.
