We had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating our UK wedding ceremony at Kaosarn. We’ve been coming here for years and have always loved the food and the vibe, so it felt like the perfect place to mark such a special occasion.
As always, the Thai food was incredibly delicious – full of flavour and beautifully cooked – and the service was outstanding. The team are so attentive, warm and welcoming, and the BYOB is amazing, which made the whole celebration even more relaxed and fun.
A huge special shout-out to Gisele, who truly went above and beyond to make our day extra special. She helped us choose our table in advance, laid it beautifully with our wedding decorations, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Gisele and the whole team are excellent and soooo friendly, which really makes Kaosarn stand out.
We had the best time, and our family absolutely loved it too. Kaosarn never disappoints – tasty Thai food, great atmosphere, and wonderful people. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Nat and Ed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent quality Thai food. Thai operated business with very authentic and delicious Thai food at very reasonable prices. Portion sizes are perfect (generous), and you are able to bring your own bottle for a small corkage fee. Service and decor also great !Definitely recommend for anyone looking to support an independent and hoping to eat some real Thai food at a good price.

Really delicious Thai food! BYOB and cash only. Staff are super friendly and will explain all the dishes, including how best to enjoy them.

The food is phenomenal, this was my first time trying Thai food and I was blown away! The flavours are amazing, the servers come briefly but they were nice. The atmosphere is very lively and loud, it is a bring your own drink restaurant which is so cool!

Friday night dinner – what a great choice. Incredible Thai food and super friendly staff. BYOB too! There was a queue outside the door, which tells you everything. Highly recommend the Pad Se Ew.

We love coming to Kaosarn for dinner with friends! It is so affordable and delicious Thai food. The service is always fast and friendly. The green curry and duck red curry are our go to orders every time with the salt and pepper squid!

This place was awful. Food was bad, over cooked dry chicken. My chicken pad thai had lumps of tofu in it which makes you wonder how. Flavourless food. My friends dish was so spicy she couldn’t eat it but there was no warning on menu. It was rammed full which very pushy service. Atmosphere was so loud and cramped you couldn’t talk without having to shout across the table.
It’s BYOB but they charge a ridiculous corkage fee and don’t even give you wine glasses but chunky water glasses. If you are charging 12.5% at least give a wine glass and maybe even an ice bucket.
Over all this place was awful. Rude, pushy staff. Poor quality food.

Long standing loyal customer here.. love kaosarn as it’s a great atmosphere and great value for money, they sometimes can rush you but I don’t mind that too much as I know table time is limited, but I have to say the pad Thai really missed the mark this time 🙁 4 of us ordered it and it tasted completely tomatoey, it felt like we were eating tomato noodles. Not sure if this was a mistake or bad day as I’ve had fab pad Thai from here many times but wanted to feed back as it felt a little disappointing for a birthday x

It’s my most favourite Thai Restaurant in the world. I have been eating in Kaosarn for a number of years. Their branch at St John’s Hill offers the same amazing experience like their other branches at Brixton Village and Tooting. It’s a family run business and the food is authentic Thai cuisine. All restaurants allow BYOB so it’s very convenient for customers to enjoy their food with their favourite drinks. It’s wise to book as all branches are always busy. They have a wide range of menus: chicken with sticky rice or Phad Thai for Thai food beginners to a more fiery creamy curries. All the food on the menu is sumptuous and can make you drool! They make the best Som Thum Thai or papaya salad with a lot of kick. My favourite of all time is their Massaman Curry. Not a lot of Thai restaurants offer melt in your mouth lamb Massaman but Kaosarn does! I like to eat spicy starters to awaken my palate then, eat mild main so that my taste buds can focus on enjoying the taste of Thai cuisine. If I don’t have any starters, I would go for their red or green curries. The addition of coconut cream makes them especially tongue-tastic! You’ll be saying.. “nom nommm nomm!” All curries come with a huge serving of rice! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Giselle is very professional and always so attentive just like all their staff. The aunty behind the counter is an added assurance that the food is always lovingly prepared and that you’ll have that home cooked comfort food on the table. I love Kaosarn so much I had my 50th Birthday there and yes it’s a very popular destination for all kinds of celebrations!

What a cool little restaurant with extremely sweet and lovely owner. I like the decor a lot. For those two reasons, I give it 5 stars.
Food wise, it was fine. My dish was too spicy so she kindly replaced it with a new dish with less chilies. Thanks for that.
The prawns were very big and plentiful. I’m extremely happy with the quantity of it.
The taste is not too authentic but suits most people’s tastebuds.
