We enjoyed it so much we had to go back! The shakes are a culinary experience and could double as a meal! The chicken and waffles with the miso honey butter, delicious! The breading on the chicken was something more spectacular than just panko and flour. The Crab Benedict with the sweet crab cakes topped with the perfectly cooked poached egg covered in yuzu hollandaise sauce, was not to be outdone by the hash browns that were packed with flavor! Great service with a cool vibe. It feels like we found a hidden gem. Can’t wait to go back.

Went here for our Anniversary dinner. Adam was our server and made great recommendations. I enjoyed the Cinder & Silk cocktail, along with the seared salmon. Hubby and I shared the crab cakes and he had the duck a la orange. It was all delicious.
We had a nice table to the side and got to see the kitchen. Very nice atmosphere with excellent service and food. Highly recommended and will com back.

A party of 5 came here (we made reservations) for dinner and it was a very pleasant experience. I tried their pizza, meat ball appetizer and I had their risotto. The pizza was pretty good and meat ball was packed with flavour. My risotto was a little on the salty side but the scallops were well done! I do have to highlight the customer service though… I forget our server’s name but she was on top it all night! Asking us if we needed anything and made sure we were all set the entire night. That made the dining experience very enjoyable. It’s too and I only have one picture of the food

We finally got to use the gift card we received from our Dance students and their families! We were able to take in fine dining with a peaceful atmosphere. Our server Adam J was spectacular and was very attentive to us in his service. I would highly recommend the canoe restaurant when you’re looking to treat yourself, your family, and our friends to a night of fine dining where memories can be made.

This was a stylish and sophisticated place to dine. They had a wide selection of wines, and the food was delicious, the pizza especially. Our risotto and duck were also well prepared. We had friendly service and were welcomed. Kanù is an all-around great dining experience, and I certainly recommend it.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my graduation at Kanù this evening. It was our first time going and it had been highly recommend by friend’s. The rooftop seating was so nice and the overall atmosphere was fun and relaxed. The food was absolutely amazing especially the S’mores Cake dessert! Our server Adam was very attentive and made us feel very taken care of and comfortable. Overall was a great night and I am definitely looking forward to next time!

Literally drove right past it and didn’t see it, but trusted Google Maps, found a parking spot, and discovered the entrance discreetly tucked away.
We chose the rooftop seating on a Sunday afternoon, 15 minutes before close of brunch, and they still seated us and we had the place nearly to ourselves.
The meal was delightful, service was wonderful, and we all are looking forward to returning again.

Surprise find! We were staying on a nearby lake for a family vacation and got to sneak away for a date night. Didn’t expect to find someplace with such a sophisticated vibe (in a chill, cool way, not a pretentious way). If you’re from the city and have had enough of local breweries, this is a great spot for a cocktail or two, a large wine menu, and a more city chic vibe. We enjoyed the meatball appetizer, pork chop (OMG the polenta) and tandoori vegetables, plus the blueberry cake for dessert. Excellent, and our server Adam was attentive and helpful with the menu and even entertained our questions about the history of the place. Great service (and stay warm this winter, Adam!). We loved the rooftop, too.

We really enjoyed our meal at KANU. The crab cakes were full of crab and not a ton of filler. I had the salmon which was delicious, and my hubby had the pork chop which was huge and very flavorful. Our server was so sweet and right on top of everything! We highly recommend KANU and are looking forward to going back!!
