While working in the Joplin area, the Hillbilly and co-worker decided (on Google’s high ratings) to try Downtown Burgers. I love it when other reviewers find these great places! And they were on the money with DTB’s!
The burgers and fries were really tasty, the service was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable.
The only mistake I made was I didn’t get “The Farm.” I won’t make that mistake again!

I shan’t bore you waxing ecstatic over the food. I will tell you, go there. You have an obligation to yourself and this fine burger shack to go there. If you are within a few thousand miles, go there. Plus they pepper the fries, something I thought I was alone in doing. Go there. Great people, great burger. Go there.

Now this is a hole in the wall type of places, worth the stop and try if you like burgers! Looked to be mom & daughter working together. Friendly.
Burgers were fresh and good. We each got them with pepperjack cheese.
No sitting available, there might have been one picnic table outside however we sat in our car and it was just fine.

Grab a quick bite! Yummy cheeseburgers and seasoned fries! A nice unexpected treasure hidden in a small unassuming little building. Staff was friendly and quick, fantastic to explain the menu and patiently what for you to make a decision!

SHAZAM, I found it!
Cooked to order, flat top grill, great buns! Old fashion hamburger at its finest! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else, that is unless you want many different varieties of burgers!
This is a ‘ CLASSIC’, burger joint and I highly recommend!
The only thing I would add, ‘ ONION RINGS ‘, then good to go on all areas!
Also, fries were actually hot and fresh! And they give you a mountain of them!
Anyone knows that follow my reviews, I speak the blunt truth, liked or not!

I can not say enough good things about this place. I’ve known the lady working there for ages. She’s cool as all get out. She just automatically knows my order without me telling her now. LOL! Their fries are spectacular, and the burgers are just downright AMAZING!!!!! I love this place.
