Best cheap and quick Chinese food eateries in town! 3 item combo only $10 and I got a bunch to go, ranging from all sorts of chicken, pork, beef dishes, grilled fish, veggies, tofu, and come up with a side of rice and seaweed egg drop soup. They also have other dumpling dishes but I always stick to the quick and dirty combo meals. Yum!

Just your typical hole in the wall food court place. Come here for cheap, authentic Chinese food. Spent a total of $30 for one pan friend Bao and XLB. Each we’re super hot, fresh and delicious and there was some table service.

They serve their in-house chili, which you can buy for $10. But the chili I didn’t find to be too spicy.

Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

Beef Noodle Soup Tonight! Pretty Giant Portion at about $15-
This place is known for most of their Popular Dishes which, are also posted on their walls like Posters.
Plenty of Juicy Tender Meat, Amazing Brother, Yummy Vegetables.
I was thinking about their Hot Tray Food honestly but, went with their Popular Beef Noodle Soup. There’s plenty of Foodie Channels on YT & IG that showcase everything Popular served here.

I also got a Melon Drink. They have Premade Teas, Juices and such made from various Fresh Fruits which are in their coolers, as well as Made To Order Fresh.

Their Frozen Dumplings are also in their coolers to take home and cook with. Well reviewed and raved about on social media.

They also sell Jok Rice Porridge.

Two Locations, the other in Alhambra, I believe.

Restaurant is pretty Clean. Plenty of Seating.

Restrooms by the back Exit/ Entrance.

Plenty of Parking in the Lot out back OR Street Parking on Las Tunas Ave.

Food was all fine when we dined in in the morning. Our kids loved the Shao Mai so I got three big ones to go. When we got to eat them at night, I found mold on two of them after eating the first. The lady sold me these told me “take them all, they are all freshly made!” I can’t believe freshly made food will develop mold the same day….

First-time visit. My elderly father needed extra time to understand the ordering process.

Instead of helping, the female server mocked him repeatedly in front of others. It was uncomfortable and upsetting.

Everyone deserves basic respect. We left feeling unwelcome.

This sketchy-looking hole-in-the-wall serves the best 生煎 (fried bao) in all of greater LA. The sanitation situation is visibly terrifying. But honestly, I’d risk mild food poisoning once in a while for that crispy bottom and juicy bite. So many authentic Shanghainese restaurants serves pathetic prefab version生煎 nowadays.

Restaurant that focuses on take out. Dining in is an option, but is not the. most comfortable. However, the restaurant makes up for it with its delicious a la carte options. I recommend the pan-fried buns/dumplings, which are made to order! The soup noodles aren’t bad and will come served in a comically large bowl.

Kang Kang is a timeless go-to for all Chinese homemade classics. It’s been a staple of the San Gabriel Valley for years, and I will never make a trip back home to LA without making a stop. Plenty of parking in the back. Food to order takes 5-10 min max.

More than decent. Great for a quick bite. I like that they have white pepper and table condiments. Xiaolongbao and Shanghainese dumplings are awesome. My son loved their mapo tofu. Give them a try, and don’t be scared by how much of a hole in the wall the place looks like.
