Visited this restaurant a few years ago with a more positive review. During the last visit the service was very poor. We had to flag the waitress several times for drink refills.
The steaks were tough, overcooked, and not the cut that was requested and paid for. Edible, not enjoyable and leftovers were not taken home.The baked potato was also under cooked.
Better service and food quality at a chain restaurant.
Will never visit again.

We enjoyed our dining experience at Kanes.
The sirloin was tasty, tender and well prepared to my preference. The brussels sprouts and wedge salad were very good.
My Greyhound loved his steak medallions & fries.
We enjoyed our meal in the courtyard which is shaded and peaceful.
Our server (Kyle) was attentive and friendly.

5 stars to PRIME RIB THURSDAY NIGHT. We loved it. We both started out with a salad. I highly recommend their Wedge Salad. Absolutely delicious and they didn’t skimp on the decadent Blue cheese dressing. Wow! It was fantastic!!!
It’s hard to find a restaurant that really knows how to cook a Prime Rib correctly. Well Kane’s cooked it perfectly and to perfection. It was was wonderful.

My family and I were vacationing in Crystal River and visited for dinner. Our server was friendly and all around fantastic. We ordered the Steak Quesadilla and the Coconut Shrimp for our appetizers and both were fantastic! Our meals were also really good. The Parmesan crust Snapper was perfect. The Signature Alfredo was super creamy and the steak was cooked exactly how I like it. I’ve never had grilled romaine before and was surprised when my Caesar side Sade came out but it was absolutely wonderful and highly recommend. It’s a charming place and a beautiful location. We will definitely be back.

Well, we came here for the first time tonight. French onion soup was good and the wife enjoyed her 6oz sirloin. I got the 14oz NY strip with Brussel sprouts and steak fries. Steak fries were great, Brussel sprouts were meh. My steak was about 8 ounces after I cut the fat out. One whole side was just fat on top of the edge being that way too. I don’t mind some but this wasn’t acceptable I felt. I nicely asked the waitress after and pointed to what was left which was all the fat I cut out of this was standard. She said yes the edge is all fat and that’s just the way they come. I’ve never had one this bad personally but here we are. Personally I won’t be back. I could get a better steak at Cody’s unfortunately.

We had a good experience, going for the first time to Kanes. We had a table of 9 for a Birthday get together. The food was top notch and our server was fun and bubbly. I would recommend this place to anyone. My wife had the pork chops, she said they were excellent, the standard plate has two chops, not sure why but very good.

Went during lunch to the self-proclaimed “steakhouse” with my husband and two children. The presentation of the restaurant is quite nice but by the end of the service, you leave with that “lipstick on a pig” feel. Realized after arriving they do not sell steak until mid-afternoon. Fine, no biggie, they advertise a Big Philly and a French Dip on their menu, we’ll try that. My boys ordered a burger and a Smiley face pancake. Everyone with sandwiches ordered fries as their side. Service was slow despite what appeared to be a light traffic day. Our food arrived, the pancake face was a hit with our 5 year old (despite his slightly burnt bacon) and our 11 year old was happy with his burger. My husband and I both agreed that our sandwiches looked and tasted as if it was made with steak-ums meat, not figuratively, literally. The fries were the best part of the meal but they were still your basic, run of the mill frozen fries with a bit of salt thrown in as an after thought. At the end of the day the food was edible, but the price did not match the quality of the food received. Most definitely will not be back.

We were camping in the area to celebrate our Anniversary/Valentines and were lucky enough to find this gem of an eatery!! We had the pleasure of Holly being our server and she is a shining jewel to this dining establishment. She knew the menu, made recommendations and was just a ŕockstar! Everything we had was yummy! Went there for lunch and had a great experience. We ordered amazing calamari, French onion soup as Appetizers. I had the 6 ounce filet mignon and the wedge salad with hand cut steak fries and it was really good. My husband ordered the short rib dip and he thought his food was good as well. Jess did a great job handling multiple tables. The kitchen did a fantastic job getting the food out with perfect timing! Overall a great experience!
