This was my family’s first time visiting (for my grandson’s birthday). It was great watching the cook fire up the skillet and prepare our meals right before us. He was so professional and has a very sweet and pleasant spirit/attitude. The food was absolutely delicious! We got nice portions and had some to take home. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is conducive for great company and fellowship. I really enjoyed our visit and would love to return. ❤️

We had an incredible experience at this Japanese restaurant! The sashimi was absolutely fresh and melted in our mouths—some of the best we’ve ever had. The rice wine paired perfectly, with a smooth and delightful flavor that enhanced the meal. The atmosphere was amazing, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that made the whole evening unforgettable. Everything, from the food to the service, was top-notch. Highly recommend!

from beginning to middle what a journey this was. were were promised seats open after a family left but were instead lumped into the the side with another party. we tried to reaffirmed that our party was special, out to dinner to give my mom a reprieve from her recent cancer diagnosis and allow my grandmother her first ever hibachi experience. they assured us we would be accommodated with special seating. instead we were shifted to the side with another party. even receiving our appetizers and salad felt strange. they handed each individual
soup to the party of white people, but they made us grab a hold of the very hot suit bowl container containers, and pass them off to one another. this is not only a hospitality no no and red flag, but dangerous and hazardous to the customers receiving the food service. The waitress even snatched away my salad before i was finished. Henry our cook was a standout. my mother advocated for the experience we were looking for. however, there was no-show typically experienced with hibachi. There wasn’t any lofting ship ramp into the air so that we can catch it into the mouth. There was no exuberant conversation or fun overall offered to the whole group.Highlighted again it was my grandma’s first time and the cancer diagnosis we were being mindful of irt the cooking of the food and Henry hit it out of the park. i don’t know if i’ll be back but wanted you all to know and be conscious on bias you may have when dealing with VIP customers. it was a shameful experience. as it, they were only looking to get us out the door as soon as possible. no one even came by to refill our waters or our drinks. especially for how much our party of four spent. additionally, we asked for filet mignon, that is not what they served us.

One of the only places in Virginia Beach with a Sake Bomb option which I loved.
Sashimi was to die for, melted in my mouth. Service was impeccable, someone was always asking if we needed help or refills.
Overall a good quality place, for sushi or hibachi.

Came out to VB with a close friend of mine for a dress fitting (she’s getting married! ), and we planned on going to another Hibachi restaurant that we’ve gone to before in the Town Center area, but after seeing they weren’t going to be open until 4:30pm, we googled and came across this gem! As a first time customer at this restaurant, I’ll say, they are amazing! Not only are all the staff members lovely to interact with, but the food is SO DELICIOUS! I did the shrimp and lobster Hibachi and it was so worth our drive there. My older brother lives around that area of VB, so if I’m ever in the neighborhood and want Hibachi again, this will be my go to for sure! Oh! And the salad dressing here, I don’t know what it is, but it was so good! You all are just amazing all around, thank you for such a great first experience!

We have been here many times and satisfied each time. This last time went terrible. Service was so off. Brought 1 of 3 soups, forgot drinks. Finally brought soup, still no drinks. 90 minutes of sitting before we finally got our sushi. It was delicious but the ginger was terrible. The taste was bad. So disappointed in our experience we may never return. The sushi was so good too. If someone had told us why things were so slow or messed up that would be ok
But even when we asked which sushi was which since it came out mixed on only 2 trays, the response was we don’t know who gets what when you order. So that was not ok with me either.
I hope that they fix that issue because as a small family business they need to be in top of things.

Went here for the first time this evening. Can’t believe I’ve driven past it a million times and never thought to stop. Glad I did today. Our server June was amazing and our chef was incredible. The atmosphere was very comfortable and family friendly. We got filet mignon and chicken hibachi. Everything was delicious. My kids were like they have the best water lol. Everything was just amazing. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you so much for such a welcoming first experience
