Absolutely delicious sushi!
The fish was incredibly fresh — you can really taste the quality. My favorites were the white tuna and the eel sushi — perfectly balanced and full of flavor.
Also, Tamara was such a sweet and kind server, she made our visit even more enjoyable.

When we moved to the Saint Augustine area from Upstate NY, we struggled to find a fresh sushi spot. A friend recommended Kamiya 86, and we’re so glad we gave it a try—now it’s our go-to place for sushi! We’ve been regulars here for the past 5 months, and they haven’t disappointed us once. The fish is always fresh, and the quality is consistently excellent.
Tamara is such an amazing server—friendly, attentive, and she makes the experience even better. We especially love ordering the Love Boat for 3, along with the spicy tuna roll and white fish tempura roll. Everything is delicious!
If you’re looking for fresh, consistently great sushi in St. Augustine, this is the place to go.

We each got a lunch special. I got an eel and cucumber roll and tuna roll. 2 rolls for $10.50. My lunch partner got the Thai Drunken Noodles Shrimp. I’d order everything order everything again. I prefer trying new things. Spice of life is in the food I chose to eat.

Well we will finally never be back. Tonight we came in after not coming to this location for awhile because of bad service. It is only 1 person who ruins it for us and I dont know her name. The first thing she said at eight thirty, when we walked in the door to be seated, was we closed in forty five minutes. That gives me the impression that you don’t want us to be here.So we left. You close at 930.

Kamiya 86 is my favorite place for sushi. Their sushi is the freshest sushi in Ponte Vedra. Their service is fast and waiters are friendly too. My favorite sushi rolls are the Yummy Roll, Crazy Dynamite Roll, Snow Mountain Roll, and the shrimp Tempura roll. The clear soup is excellent. Sometimes I dine in and sometimes I take out. Even when taking out food, the service is always on time.

Decent sushi. Thai dishes are not very good. Atmosphere is gross as you’ll see multiple tables that haven’t been cleared. Service is atrocious. The atmosphere is so routinely gross that I’ve started using this restaurant for take-out only. Apparently asking the staff for a second container of soy sauce and wasabi is just too much, as my request was met with a clearly perturbed attitude complete with an annoyed sigh. And that was after I kindly left a tip for my take-out order.

The prices are completely crazy compared to the food you get which is average at best. I used to love this place but now feel cheated . I will not pay these prices for this amount of food which are extremely small portions compared to a few years back. I also had to ask the waitress 3 times to bring water and I was one of 3 people in the restaurant. This is not the first time this has happened but it’s my last. No more chances for you Kamiya 86.

I have been getting take out from here for years..they have a California roll with real crabmeat! Today I decided to sit at the sushi bar for the first time ever and had the pleasure of meeting Byron. He started us off with a cucumber salad that was AMAZING as well as salmon in brown butter that was equally amazing! I ordered a volcano roll that was so fresh, delicious and filling! The presentation was on point! The coconut lemongrass sake was a win also! 100% worth a drive to Ponte Vedra!!!
