We’re happy to do it, as the place didn’t disappoint.
Great atmosphere, looking fresh and open space. Excellent music as well.
The food was delicious and decent portions.
The prices are fair and the service was excellent.
Definitely a hidden gem. I recommend it.
We kicked things off with the zucchini croquettes, which were perfectly fine, though they were immediately overshadowed by the tuna tartare. On the flip side, the calamari was a bit of a “participation trophy” effort, and the saganaki was crying out for a drizzle of honey to save it from its own saltiness. The beverage program, however, knows what it’s doing. The espresso martinis aren’t the usual sugar bombs, thanks to a hit of miso caramel that actually makes them interesting, and the spritzes are exactly the kind of breezy, effortless drink you want when you’re staring at the water.
For the mains, the falafel salad and chicken skewers were legitimate hits. Then there was the Margherita pizza—it was sizable and objectively good, though it arrived with a “non-traditional” cheese that seemed to be having an identity crisis. And of course, there was the smash burger. It was decent, but honestly, if we could collectively decide as a society to move past the smash burger trend and return to actual thick patties, I think we’d all be better for it.
The atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated. Seating is wonderful and could easily accommodate a large family. There were no large print menus and I would say that this place is easily accessible to those walking with a cane but otherwise using a wheelchair may be difficult to navigate around tables.
Food was “chefs’s kiss”-from their short ribs to their Falafel salad. Prices are not that bad either! Highly recommend!
When we had a miscommunication about part of our order, the owner Achilles was on top of things. It’s so refreshing to know that the ownership takes pride in every aspect of their service and food.
Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.
