The food here is really good. We love the chicken birria tacos, especially on Tuesday when they’re on sale for $1 each! This place has some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. The drinks are also delicious. The first time we went the customer service was superior. The second time I think we were just there on an off day. Because they forgot half of our order. We definitely will be back!

A friend called me up and said “Hey I’m hungry. Go buy me lunch.” And I said “Gang gang G. I got chu.” She wanted tacos. So I drove downtown and found Kalos. Inside I met the ever friendly Brian who made me feel very welcome and recommended the shrimp tacos. I promised I would try them next time. Got my friend some pollo and carnitas tacos. I got a tinga taco. It was delicious! I was told the next day they would be having dollar tacos. So the next day I went back for lunch. Got a whole bunch of tacos! Don’t worry I didn’t eat them all, I did share. They were phenomenal! Also I kept my promise to Brian and I got a shrimp taco. It was muy beuno! I will certainly be making Kalos a regular stop and I recommend you do too!

I absolutely love this place. They recently stopped doing $1. Taco Tuesday and Thursday so not so happy about that but nevertheless food is great..and the people are too.

This is the BEST meal I’ve ever had in Sanford HANDS DOWN!!! When I walked in and saw they had agua frescas, I just knew the food was going to be incredible. I got an assortment of tacos that were all super fresh, well seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The guacamole was fantastic. Great portions for the price. Service was fast and friendly. Overall wonderful restaurant, highly recommend everyone try it out!

Absolutely great food. Try their camarones a la creama, it’s full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. They are doing a great job in serving authentic Mexican food, but also standing apart from the competition.

They had a $1 taco special on Tuesdays and Thursday that is no longer available as of September 30, 2025.
Tacos are now $4.25 each or you can get them in a meal with three tacos and a small cup of rice and beans for $13.99.
