If you want to have a fantastic dinner this is the restaurant for you!!!
This place is an experience and not just good food.
The bar and restaurant are exquisitely decorated and have a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. You can start at the bar with a few drinks where Julie will take care of you and prepare the best cocktails. When you are ready move to the dinning room or the patio if you prefer, and Brett will definitely make you have the best dining experience of your life. He will describe the chef’s creations in such a way that you will savor the food before it arrives, he was friendly and made us feel like we were old friends. He was also very friendly with my kids, they even got to share a few jokes.
When the food arrived we were absolutely stunned by the magnificent flavors that chef Matt created, we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The good thing is that there was more deliciousness to come…we wrapped up our dinner with pastry chef Sara’s fabulous Banana Cheesecake!!
I don’t have enough words to completely describe the flavors and the fantastic food we had. You HAVE to visit Kallisto and let yourself be amazed by this little hidden gem in the mountains of North Carolina.

This was a hidden gem! We live in Western NC and always looking for local cuisine. This place is top of our list! The drinks were impressive and the food…oh my goodness, the food was amazing. I don’t like mushrooms and loved their teriyaki mushrooms! A must if you enjoy great food and drinks at wonderful prices.

This is definitely on our list of places we have to eat at when we are out here. There was a decent wait but the staff were so friendly and we were able to go to the bar to get a drink and then sit in the lobby area while we waited. Once we were seated we had an amazing view outside. The drinks were delicious. We got the Pitza as an appetizer and it was great. Had the salmon and steak both of which tasted amazing. But the staff were just beyond friendly and welcoming. Even with a hectic night and a sudden rush they were so kind and polite and handled everything as best they could. Overheard one of the owners having to handle some less than patient people and still maintained a very respectful and polite attitude. The bar service was great, the bartender was obviously busy and doing multiple jobs but checked in to make sure we had what we needed. Even when things took a while (again totally understandable in the middle of an unexpected rush and large tables) everyone was apologetic and kind and you could just tell they were doing the best they could and working hard to make sure everyone had a good experience. Definitely recommend stopping in. It took us looking it up online to realize it was a restaurant inside the hotel that was open to the public. Wish they had better signage bc I think it would bring more people in. Overall the food and drinks were delicious, but it is the welcoming atmosphere and view that will have us coming back.

My family of 5 went here for my birthday last night. We had early reservations and had a great view. EVERY single dish we ordered was fantastic ! Our server was Julie and she was helpful with the menu and kind and gave us tips on local hiking. My birthday dessert was delicious and my shrimp and grits were the best I’ve ever had. When in Bryson City- make sure you stop here and eat.

When the food arrived we send back a steak because overcooked ($30 steak).
Awkward when the second steak arrived handed by the chef ( we guess) he arrived with some kind of actitud and the steak was undercooked but we desired take it and my steak was also medium well and i ask for medium rare .
So my friend and i just switched the steaks.
All the rest of the menu was very good .
We all work at kitchen and we celebrate every year as a kitchen crew a good end of summer camp ( camp for ur church).
I choose a different place every year for dinner.
Definitely over all the place is great and i don’t mind to go back for a drink and something easy for dinner.

Came for a birthday dinner, and even though it was their last day open for the season everything was lovely. They had a limited menu due to end of season, but everything we tried was delicious and well made. The staff was very attentive and even brought a birthday dessert 🙂 Views from the outdoor patio at sunset were unbelievable!

The owners are amazing people! Their servers are amazing and so are their cooks!!! Phenomenal customer service in a lovely dining room which also has eating outside. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the BEST chicken alfredo in my life here, highly recommend, show this place some love ❤️

We stopped here on a whim and couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant for dinner! We had incredible service from Brett and the atmosphere and food were beyond our expectations! We had the trout, fresh vegetables and delicious drinks. It was so good we’re considering going back tomorrow night! Thanks Brett for making our time here memorable!!!

Great views calming place to have a bite, we sat in the grass for a bit, in my opinion food was very tasty but the mashed potatoes needed some flavors and desserts where ok wouldn’t have them again. Great service very attentive,will definitely come back and stay here to.
