While the service and setting was good, I can’t say the same about the food. First I ordered a beef and lamb Gyro, the fries were terrible, but the worst part was the meat which had no flavor whatsoever. I had to get a salt packet to season this food because there was absolutely none on this meat. I honestly couldn’t taste the food. 2nd, my wife ordered a gyro platter, it came with no sauce, which she had to pay $1.75 extra. Then it had no flavor like how hard is it to throw on a little seasoning. Lastly, seriously, white rice on a platter? Every other greek place I’ve been to served delicious yellow rice. It’s like this place hates flavor.

If you’re in Morristown, you have to try Kalimera Gyro! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel completely welcome. The service was genuinely warm, attentive, and fast.
The food was absolutely incredible. The gyro meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and sliced fresh. The pita was soft and warm, and the tzatziki sauce was creamy, garlicky, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and high quality. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.
It’s rare to find a place that combines authentic, delicious food with such friendly, welcoming service. This is easily one of the best spots in town for Greek food. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again! Highly recommend!

The gyro here is good but the sides aren’t that great. The meat is fresh off the spit and is awesome. Lamb and beef is better than the chicken. The sides I had were average though. The lemon potatoes were taken out of the container and microwaved and that was it. They were dry and not much lemon flavor. Service was quick and and the place overall wasn’t bad. Staff was friendly too. I’d come back again but only for the gyro.

Food was bland. Lamb was burnt (see picture) which was unexpected considering it is a $19 platter. The platter package was hidden between other food items so didn’t realize till I got home. Rice and side salad was not fresh. Won’t be visiting again.

Absolutely the best food around town! If you’re looking for something delicious I think this might be your spot. The owner is one of the most knowledgeable and kind men I’ve ever had a conversation with. God bless you

Easily my new favorite place for gyro! The staff is super friendly, they even gave me and other customers free baklava. I ordered the beef and lamb gyro and it exceeded my expectations. The meat was soo flavorful and fresh. I also got the beef and lamb cut roll gyro that came with Greek fries on the side…. Amazing!! And let me not get started on the Chefs specialty sauce!!! I don’t know what’s in it but I would definitely buy an entire bottle of it if they sold it. I truly loved my experience in this place and I hope they succeed and get many customers!

This restaurant is peak laziness. When you have such a limited menu if you are going to have French Fries on the menu why not actually just make them instead of using frozen bagged fries? Can’t we just buy frozen fries in the grocery store why eat at a restaurant?
Absolutely unacceptable to put a salad in the same container as the hot food. The salad is completely inedible hot wet mushy and nasty.
Also the lamb was pretty much raw.
This place will have the same fate as the Effin Egg if they don’t do better

I really wanted to like the food, but quite honestly I was disappointed. I may have just ordered the wrong thing but the gyro was not great.
The bread was thin almost tortilla like. The beef/lamb was visibly dry and tasted like yesterday’s leftovers. I think I’ve had better at a mall food court. Also, the french fries in the gyro might be their standard but it definitely comes across as filler.
The silver lining here were the fresh veggies and taziki sauce. The employee’s seemed kind and the restaurant looked clean as well.
Overall, I would return and try a different dish. Hopefully I enjoy it more.

This is my other favorite place for lunch in Morristown. Gyros are the perfect comfort food, and their lamb and beef gyro is fantastic. The staff is always very friendly.
