I went to Kalibres for the first time and ordered the quesabirria dinner and a steak taco (a la carte). The quesabirria tacos were amazing! I know I’ll be craving them! The rice and beans were perfect, as well. The steak taco tasted great – not too fatty of steak, which I prefer! The chips were freshly made and so was the salsa. The salsa was spicy, but I kept having more of it because of the great flavor! I can’t wait to come back!

Finally a Mexican restaurant that offers DRIVE THRU!! I believe it’s only till 11pm, but I’ll take that! Atmosphere was amazing! Very open, fresh hip fun vibe. Super colorful and clean. Music was perfect! They had a bar up front and I would only dream that this would turn into a salsa dance club at night. I had the quesabirria taco dinner and it was so good! It came w a little cup of consume, which was just as good! We also tried the Hawaiian burger and it was juicy and flavorful. I was a little disappointed in the street corn but ONLY because I like mine w tajin and the cheese and mayo was chunky and different. I still ate it tho! I also had the fried plantains which is my absolute favorite treat but they were a lil burnt and served halved instead of chunky pieces. Again, I still ate them like a trooper! The waitress was very friendly, only downfall was we had to wait a while to have her come back and refill. It wasn’t busy so it might’ve been because she was new. They all said thank you and goodbye as we walked out, so I’m definitely going back to try some other dishes that looked interesting!

This place tastes authentic mexican, and is not that bad. As this place just opened and is still getting started, it’s understandable why a few things are not clear. We stopped by on a Friday night and the place was pretty full. We chose where we wanted to sit and a waitress followed us with menus to our table and took our drink orders right away. We had a couple of questions about some of the drinks on the menu, and the waitress wasn’t completely sure what some of them were, so we went with a beer and house mango margarita on the rocks. The margarita tasted strong!
We were given a basket of chips and some salsa and ordered our food shortly after. The salsa was pretty mild but good. We order the burrito dinner and the 3 taco dinner, with chicken, chamechano, and steak. The food was very filling and good. I would’ve liked a little bit more spice.
The staff was all very friendly and there were some gambling games along the wall. The prices weren’t too bad either. Overall we would try again

First time going there, I order a mole, horrible service, spoiled chicken and dry, seems like they have stored this food for days, I couldn’t eat it at all, they charged the mole saying that I ate some of it. I won’t be going back and I’m going to call the food health department.

Nachos Kalibrados. This appetizer consisted of homemade crispy tortilla chips, ground beef, nacho cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, sour cream, tomatoes, and a scoop of homemade guacamole.
The chips to topping ratio was close. I had 5 chips left over.
The portion size wasn’t enough for 1 adult.
The pricing was more than what the appetizer offered.
Overall, I rate this appetizer two stars. While the nachos tasted ok, there’s nothing special or authentic to make it stand out. These nachos are just like concession style nachos. Also, I didn’t realize I was missing tomatoes until writing the review.
Asada fries. This appetizer consisted of crispy fries, asada, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, and guacamole.

I decided to try out when I read the reviews and I ordered the shrimp dinner with rice and beans so far the customer service is great and comfortable. The food such as the shrimp was well cooked with full of flavor, the rice and beans seamed bland and or regular but mixed with the rest made a holy trinity with the three. Overall this restaurant made me feel comfortable, it’s affordable, lastly the food is so flavorful. Stop by and give it a try is all I can say. For a small restaurant it give what see in its name and image!

Found a bug in my Jamaica when I was pretty much done with it. Ugh. I was enjoying my drink too, I’m so disgusted now. Won’t bother to call to complain because I don’t plan on going back. I know summer brings in insects but it’s their responsibility to practice clean and safe procedures to avoid this from happening. No excuses.

Had an issue with my order and they were nice enough to make it again. The second time around the cooked the food totally different and I tried to not complain because I was hungry. I just chose to eat food but then I got down to the last bite and a piece of hair was engrained in this piece of fat from the meat on the burrito. Now I’m thinking someone did awful something to my food because I was unsatisfied. I pray I don’t get sick. I will not be back. $11 burrito with hardly any meat not worth the money. Would have been better off at chipotle. Smh so annoyed.
