Who, in the name of god, is roasting your beans? Are your espresso machines overheating? I beg of you: TELL US!
I’m genuinely trying to understand why every coffee I get from you now tastes like a Burnt Bean Latte.
It hasn’t been once or twice, but at least the last 5 times I’ve been in. It’s especially disappointing because the coffee used to be so delicious (bought several bags of Cafe Kaldi to use at home; I was a supporter, I swear!)
My drink today—the seasonal Rosemary Brown Sugar latte—had not even a tinge of rosemary and the whipped cream that I requested was not present either (a frequent occurrence). Again, disappointing because this was my go-to drink last season.
If anyone actually reads these, I would love a refund. $7.99 (with discounts) is way too much for a drink that only tastes burnt.
I’ll save my money from now on and make my own coffees at home because it just isn’t worth it anymore

**And for anyone wondering why they push tips so hard, it’s because Kaldi’s pays their employees a starting rate of ~$11/hr and subsidizes the rest with tips. Shameful.**

I’m a big fan of Kaldi’s Coffee, so I was thrilled to find this drive-thru location in Ellisville. It would be great to see more spots like this for added convenience, especially as an alternative to the usual SB options. As always, my coffee and zucchini sunflower seed bread were fantastic. If you haven’t tried their coffee yet, I highly recommend it!

Great staff, food is on point. Wish they had a better location though, the drive thru when it gets busy blocks traffic. My only wish is that they start putting that real good salsa or sauce from the breakfast burrito to go so I can slather it on top (no stars removed, it’s delicious I just crave more).

Visiting from Hawaii, got up at 0500 to drive here and catch the swag box give away! Love me some Kaldis when I’m in town, and was excited to try this beautiful location!
Was nervous they’d be out when I saw they were serving prior to opening, but I got one! So excited for the mug- thank you!

First time here, happy for the drive thru, but the speaker is not in an ideal location. If you have a larger or longer vehicle, you will have to swing out and obstruct traffic utilizing the shared drive. The speaker seems too close for safety. (A good resolution would be moving it back several feet towards the pick up window).

They were out of skim milk and didn’t have the baked goods we wanted, so that was disappointing. I tried the pumpkin maple, but the sweetness was an odd muted aftertaste, not for me.

My son and I stopped in to grab a frozen Mocha drink with espresso and decided to get their egg sandwiches also. Everything was delicious! They topped our drinks off with cold foam, which my son loves. Only 3 stars for atmosphere because entrance in the door was so small and no cafe to sit, which is what we wanted. We sat outside instead, but it was windy. The guy at the counter was friendly and patient, I appreciated him not rushing us and he actually talked to us. Most places, everybody’s in a hurry and they don’t take the time to provide such customer service.

Would avoid this location especially if you’re in a hurry. So slow, workers are unhappy. Waited 10 minutes in the driveup fora simple latte. Wish I was kidding.

Breakfast around 9:30am on a Saturday. This location is primarily setup for drive thru, but they do have an order counter and restroom inside. The only seating is outdoors. My order was ready promptly. I had a 12oz latte and a brioche breakfast sandwich. Both were excellent. The baked eggs (new to me) were so light and creamy. Worth a visit.

The good people at Kaldi’s brought ceramic mugs to this location, after a short Instagram discussion. Now, we can enjoy a proper double shot of espresso after our bicycle ride. And it truly was yummy, well-prepared and well-extracted. Thank you!

They asked if I wanted my cinnamon roll heated and said yes. It was cold like straight out of the fridge. I even left a tip which is disappointing!

Today we took coffee and it was not warm enough, and the coffee itself tasted bitter, the beans were overroasted.
