Always a treat to get dinner here. The menu is unlike any other restaurants in the area and the servers seem well trained. While I sometimes wish it was open more often, it’s always rewarding. The mousaka is great and if you want to stuff youself, order the pikilia plate. The calamari strips are also a New favorite. Glad that Pella finally had good dining options.

Great menu with quality food. Service and atmosphere makes for a great date night spot. Desserts are awesome.

Awesome food. But what was more impressive was the lengths this business goes to be environmentally friendly. By not serving straws unless asked for, recycling, etc, they are really making a difference. I would eat at this restaurant just for their values, the amazing food is just a bonus!

The food and service here were both good. Our server was positive, and attentive to our needs.
My wife and I both ordered different versions of the Kokkinisto. While good, the sirloin tips were larger than expected and this made it difficult to eat meat and the other ingredients in one bite.

We will go back – nice atmosphere and GREAT presentation. Salad came out after the food (I believe we were forgotten), portion was okay, taste was great! Two things were abnormally bland though – vegetables that came with my brisket were literally just boiled and put on the plate – tasted frozen and had zero seasoning. Their salad that comes with meals was simply iceberg lettuce with plain croutons. Kind of disappointed in those two things, but the rest of the food was wonderful. They do some things very well and others they seem to overlook.

Big CITY Quality Small Town Feel
Best restaurant in Pella. Clearly the owners take pride in their establishment. You are greeted with a smile at the front door and made to feel welcome. The restaurant was very clean and orderly from the dining area to the main restaurant along with the bathrooms. (Which says a lot)…if what you can see is clean, then there’s a much higher chance that the kitchen area is clean and orderly as well and that’s the kind of thing you want when someone is prepping your meal.
The menu selection is surprisingly large and has a nice variety for a small town. The recipes have a Greek influence and use flavors and flair from the Mediterranean. Food quality and flavors were fantastic, can’t say enough about it. Too many things to try in the 1st visit, but are worth coming back for. The owner who also happens to be the cook often makes his way through the restaurant to check to see if you are satisfied with your meal. This is a nice touch that shows they care.
I travel for business and have happened to be through town more than once. Kaldera is on the list of places to be back to again and again.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is good. Spicy means spicy which is nice! The service can be hit or miss occasionally slow but we usually are not in a hurry. Try some of the authentic Greek dishes. You won’t be disappointed.

We were visiting from the Des Moines area & found this place. Great atmosphere (cool decor), great food & great service, but a touch slow. My husband had the beef tips & they were SO tender! I had a pasta dish & it was very good. We’ll make the drive to come here again!

Great food. Nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. Only reason they didn’t more stars: they had 2 big parties the night I visited. The staff was overwhelmed. I couldn’t get a drink in the bar while waiting for my table.

Ordered take out and eat not impressed. Have eaten in at the restaurant before. This is one of the nicer and more expensive places in the area. It is good for a nice evening out but I don’t think the value of the food is really there. I got a chicken pasta dish, it was over loaded in chicken and wasn’t very filling for the price paid. I would go back but not regularly.
