My daughter chose Kalbi Asian Bistro restaurant for her birthday dinner. We loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They cheerfully answered all of our questions and were quick to refill our drinks. They really went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had an enjoyable experience.
We really wanted BBQ at the table, so we ordered BBQ Sampler 1. My daughter and I love crispy rice. So, we also ordered bulgogi dolsot. My wife also ordered bulgogi on a sizzling skillet.
The sides for the BBQ were amazing! There were green beans, pickled radishes, lettuce leaves, dipping sauces, marinated potatoes, and kimchi. It also came with a wonderful miso broth soup called jjigae. The ingredients were very fresh. The short ribs were super tender, juicy, and had excellent flavor.The ribeye was thinly sliced and very juicy. The pork belly was nice and thick. The dolsot bulgogi was amazing as well! It was topped with a fried egg and was loaded with fresh ingredients.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back! If you have the chance and are in the area, we highly recommend trying it! You will not be disappointed.

The restaurant is a bit snagged. The food is tasty and reasonablly priced. The server has no patience & rush us to order. There’s two servers talking turn to get our order. So look up their menu & know what you want before heading there. We definitely will go back to dine there.

The food were good. We ordered the Seafood Pancake for appetizer. It was very crispy and tasty. I ordered the Hot Stone bowl Beef Bogogi with Rice. It was delicious. The stone bowl kept the food very hot throughout the meal. My wife ordered the Shrimps Stir Fried Udon Noodle. It was OK, may have been better if it was served in a plate instead of a bowl. They also came with this little side dishes. They were good too. We asked for more and they didnt charges us for them. Our waitress was very friendly and tentative. In the end, they gave us each a sour yogurt drink. That I love.

We were on a trip to a beach house in NJ with our friends. After a couple days of greasy food like Cracker Barrel, Taco Bell & McDonald’s and etc, my friend and I decided we had to have Korean food before we left for home. Kalbi Bistro had really great reviews and we were not disappointed with the food and quite surprised with the amazing service! The Korean ladies were super nice and attentive! Will def be back if we’re in the area again!

Hands down the best Korean BBQ restaurant in the area. The meat is incredibly fresh, and the soup is so flavorful. They offer a private room that can accommodate up to 8 people, which is perfect for gatherings. Plus, free parking is a huge bonus. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Korean BBQ!

This is my favorite restaurant in Delaware. We’ve been going here for years and the food is consistently amazing. I can’t say enough good things, we’ve been doing takeout almost weekly and everything is always 10/10 delicious. The appetizers that come with the food are an extra special touch that we really look forward to. Everyone is so kind and welcoming.

Very disappointing experience. No one asked for our drinks when we sat down. The food came out missing the usual sides. The BBQ was served in random batches, meat got stuck together, overcooked, dry, and eventually burnt. Half of the set was left uneaten because it was just hard, inedible meat. We even told the staff but they ignored it. At checkout, they forced us to pre-select a tip before paying. We ended up paying 20% tips but will definitely never come back. Management really needs to improve.

I must say this is the best Korean restaurant in Delaware, with excellent service and delicious food. We’ve been here many times. One day, I even dropped about $180 on the ground while eating here. After finishing my meal, I left and lost the money. I called the restaurant, and they immediately confirmed that they had found it and left it for us to pick up. They are such a sincere and enthusiastic restaurant. I will high recommend it to all my friends!

There are too many yummy foods to choose from. We were celebrating Hubby becoming a US citizen and couldn’t think of another place to celebrate at than this amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is comfortable, food is exceptional, the customer service is amazing. Such an amazing cultural cuisine adventure. Even our kids found something they loved. Thank you for all of your hard work.
