First, the employees seemed very uninterested. I watched the lady at the counter side eye the customer in front of me when she walked off; I wouldn’t judge people with that eyeliner you had on.

Regardless, food choices were meh, food was definitely way over priced which I expected because it was a zoo. However I wasn’t expecting what I got handed. Chicken tenders meal (chicken tenders with fries and a drink), $12. Ok, pricey, but not horrible. I was thinking I was going to get even just regular sized chicken tendies considering it was $12. Side of Mac and cheese, $3. I mean I was thinking that they probably use Gordon food mac and cheese anyway, so I was thinking it was going to be a decent side of Mac and cheese.

I was given 4, 4!!!! chicken tenders the size of chicken nuggets from McDonalds. Tasted ABSOLUTELY horrid, like not even real chicken, I could knock on the table with it, too. The fries looked so delicious, but let me tell you, that was the nastiest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth, worse than the chicken. It tasted like whatever oil/oven/air fryer they put it in, hasn’t been cleaned yet this year. It was absolutely disgusting.

The side of Mac and cheese was literally in a sauce cup. It was good, but I could’ve gotten the same thing in a bigger container at my local school.

Very disappointing, I could’ve sworn this place was much better when I was here last about 6-7 years ago.

Taste was not bad, eventually. 18 minutes for two orders of french fries. Definitely concession stand pricing. $3.50 for a 16oz can of water. $4.50 for a small size of fries. The wildlife company was cool!!! Kids loved it.

A fun stop in an awesome zoo! It is one of my favorite stopping places when I go to Binder Park Zoo. And it is a fabulous zoo as well!

had options like bacon cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, sides like fries, Mac and cheese or potato chips cost extra. They dobhave ice cream and Dippin dots at this location along with fountain drinks though which was a plus. Beware though. unless you order the souvenir cups you won’t get a lid or a straw. Bring a water bottle or straw from home if it bothers you. also, no indoor eating at this particular eatery. choose another one if that’s an option you prefer. you may have different food options though.

The Kalahari Kitchen in the Binder Park Zoo has typical quick bite food that is actually really good. It’s a great place to stop for a break from the animals and attractions during your visit. Prices are about what you’d expect and fair.

Great food for a an entertainment (zoo) venue. Prices are inflated, as you might guess. Service is a bit slow, but friendly. Seating area is comfortable and roomy, with plenty of places in the shade and outside.

Free water fill station around on the side!

Was disappointed in the veggie wrap here. Was the most expensive thing on menu. And only thing that didn’t have meat in it. Paid 10 bucks for a piece of lettuce a few tomatoes and 3 slices of cucumbers. Was a joke in all honesty. I should if just fed the giraffes that ten dollar bill.

There is a great view of the African exhibit at binder park zoo. The food was okay but the convenience out weighs the run of the mill food.

$9 for a burger, $5 for sides. Burgers were very tasty and well made, fries were also high quality. Would 100% come back
