Boudin balls are horrible and the owner’s attitude is even worse. You can’t have your phone out at all, even after you order. He gets upset and wants to be in control, it’s giving…hmmm! This is 2023 not 1923, establishment is outdated and very nasty looking. I won’t spend another penny there!

While it may look like a little portable building on a corner, it’s so much more than that. Don’t let the looks deceive you. They have the most amazing gumbo ever! It’s always hot, fresh and delicious. I’ve had the boudin balls and meatpies and love them too! I’ve never experienced any service issues.

Stopped by here on my trip back home to Dallas from New Orleans. Very nondescript location and was wondering if it was actually open when I parked on the gravel surrounding it. Opened the door and the owner was inside, ready for my order. Plenty of menu options [take out only] and a nice last stop for me to take some good Louisiana food back home with me on my road trip.
