Loved the food here! Everything we ordered tasted great! Only complaint I’d have is that the rolls have a bit too much rice…they are big and filling, but the ratio of rice to filling is little much for my liking. Otherwise, the food was really good, fresh and no fishy aftertaste. Really enjoyed the beef and chicken hot plate and the unique flavour of the New Style Maki roll! The service was fantastic, but the restaurant is small and gets crowded so I recommend reservations. Definitely will be back to try other menu items!

Went to Kaizen Japanese Restaurant for my birthday dinner with family and friends, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The sushi was absolutely incredible—extremely fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every roll tasted like it was made with real care and top-quality ingredients.
The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration, and the staff were friendly and attentive the entire night. Everyone at the table left impressed.
If you’re looking for amazing sushi and a great dining experience, Kaizen is definitely worth it. Perfect spot for a special occasion!

Amazing and kind servers who don’t hesitate to help! despite being new, the restaurant feels so homey and cozy if that makes sense like a busy bustling city street with neon lights and all! The food is beautiful and flavorful the bathrooms are nice and clean seats are comfy and clean as well and the restaurant itself seems well maintained and neat!
Suitable for any amount of people you can go with friends and take the room seats or outside in the patio!

We were impressed by how fresh the sushi and sashimi was, the grilled black cod was also excellent. I like how the chef displays restraint in his use of ingredients – clean fresh flavours rather than relying on mayo and sweet sauces than many Japanese restaurants lean on. The only dish that I fell a little short was the Tonkatsu base for the ramen. It lacked creaminess and depth of flavour. The service and atmosphere was relaxed and responsive. Will for sure be back for more

I came to try out this new sushi place and I was slightly disappointed. The overall flavors of the food weren’t as strong as I thought. Update I came here again, and got the Ramen. It was pretty good, tho the noodles clumped up a bit. As well my friends got the boat and they gave it a 3.5.

My family decided to try out Kaizen for our annual back to school dinner. It was pretty busy, all the tables were full, for a long weekend Sunday evening but the service and food was not affected at all. The servers were consistently checking on us and the tasty food came out quickly. The menu is quite extensive so we need to come back and try out more. Highly recommend.

The sushi rolls were beautifully presented, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to serve. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell they take pride in their food. This has instantly become one of my go-to sushi spots—highly recommend to anyone who loves quality sushi!
