I stayed one night in Heraklion and was craving sushi, so I decided to try this restaurant — and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was absolutely delicious, and the host was very kind and friendly. At the end, I was offered a complimentary dessert, which was refined and truly delightful. Highly recommended!

We ordered several kinds of sushi and bao buns. There is plenty of sea food, vegetarian, and chicken dishes available. The food was all very tasty, diverse, made with fresh ingredients. The background music was lovely and the staff really kind. In thr end they even brought a desert on house!

Lovely Japanese restaurant just off the busy part of Heraklion – a hidden gem. The food was well prepared, the staff was extremely attentive, and the ambiance and decor lovely. We told them about dietary requirements around being lactose intolerant and they were happy to oblige. The serving sizes were also generous on the noodles and the tartares. Strongly recommend.

My husband and I had a great experience at Kaiso Black Dragon! The girl who served us was SO friendly, kind and funny. We had katsu bao buns, chicken and shrimp yaki soba noodles, and a California roll. It was all tasty, and we’re looking forward to going back and trying some of the sushi.
