My first time eating at an authentic Thai cuisine restaurant in Hatyai. Though crowded, managed to get a table for 5 adults in less than 10 mins. Ordered some rojak buah outside just right outside, tasted so good with the sauce.

Servers were polite & can entertain your questions well enough. Food doesn’t take long time to be served, and tasty. Especially loved the tomyam & the famous grill squid. Price range is affordable. Overall, would repeat again if I went to Hatyai.

We tried a few dishes beyond the famous fried chicken during our visit, and the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. However, the service was truly outstanding, particularly from one new staff member.

The star of the show, the Fried Chicken, lived up to the hype, especially when paired with the sweet sauce. The chicken itself was crispy and juicy, and the sauce provided the perfect sweet-and-savory complement. A definite must-try!
We were also blown away by the Steamed Fish with Lime. The fish was perfectly cooked, tender, and the lime-chili broth was incredibly vibrant, fresh, and tangy. This dish was absolutely amazing.

Unfortunately, the rest of our order didn’t quite measure up.
The Stir-Fried Squid with Salted Egg was disappointing. It was just so-so; the salted egg coating lacked the rich, grainy texture and deep flavor we were hoping for.
Finally, a strong note on the beverage: the Teh Tarik was way too sweet. It completely overpowered the tea flavor and could use a significant reduction in sugar to be enjoyable.

A special mention must go to the awesome staff, especially the new hire who collected my order at Table No. 1-1 on Thursday, October 9th, around 6:00 PM. She was lovely, friendly, and did a very good job ensuring our order was correct and our table was attended to. Exceptional service like this really elevates the dining experience!

Come for the excellent Fried Chicken and the fantastic Steamed Fish with Lime, and enjoy the great service. Be prepared to skip the Stir-Fried Squid and perhaps order your Teh Tarik with less sugar.

Kai-Tod Decha (Bangloh) is a go-to spot if you are craving authentic Southern Thai fried chicken done right. The chicken comes out perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with a few local snacks and desserts to round off the meal. Taste is decent, not mind-blowing but definitely satisfying enough to make you finish every bite. Prices lean toward the pricier side, so it is more of a treat-yourself kind of stop. The restaurant is open-air with no air conditioning, but the atmosphere feels lively and relaxed, especially on weekends when tourists crowd in. Staff are polite and keep things moving without much fuss. It is wheelchair friendly, although parking can be a headache since there is no dedicated area. Location is okay and easy to spot. Would I come back? Maybe, especially when the craving for that crispy chicken hits again.

Nice fried chicken with sweet spicy chili sauce. Tender chicken and still juicy. Ordered thigh and drumstick. Mango kerabu and thai tea ice. Overall good experience to try out. My favourite is mango kerabu among all.

The food is not worth Q-ing for. So they are supposedly supposed to be popular for their fried chicken (according to Google reviews), and so my partner and I decided to order to try. OMG was it SUPER DRY and not tasty at all. See pictures. Thank God we only ordered 2 pieces.and we couldn’t get to choose the chicken pieces! Not to mention the chicken pieces with garlic. Those felt more like fried chicken skin instead. Fried chicken skin was sold out.
The chicken presentation was totally out too! So not only not pleasing to the eye, also not pleasing to the palate.

Food was good but the Prawn doughnuts were a let down, sauces were delicious and the Thai Tea did not dissapoint at all. As the restaurant gets packed easily, it is recommended to visit another branch of theirs

Most staff can speak bahasa.
Not air-conditioned and parking’s quite tricky.

Of course, a viral halal restaurant in Hatyai. Waiting time is quite ok in the afternoon but better come early. Systematic queue. Food was ok, not the best.
