We visited this place and it has nothing to do with the photos or name advertised. The staff told us the restaurant changed ownership but never updated anything. We came specifically for the happy hour, were given the menu, and then the server came back to take it away, saying it was not valid anymore.

The place is extremely run-down, dirty, and poorly maintained—completely different from what is shown online. Prices on the updated menu are much higher (for example, tacos are $24 instead of $9). Overall, it feels more like a scam than a legitimate restaurant. Very disappointing experience.

Excellent food. Everything I have had here is great. I’d highly recommend the tapas-the Oaxaca cheese tastes amazing – tender creamy texture with a nutty hint… the heirloom tomatoes adds the perfect summer flavor and wraps the bite in a perfect harmony. The pork chile is by far the best – thick, chunky, smoky. The light crunch of onion surrounded by tender ground pork and soft chili chunks, it is so perfect for any meal. Fry bread taco is an interesting item-the thick bread tortilla is more of a heavier dough bite.

The food was amazing, came here on a Thursday. Came back on Saturday during the Hard Rock Summit show and the the restaurant changed names. Changed the menu and prices went up. Not sure if its just because the show but kinda seems like exploitin of needs. Since there is a show here and no other restaurants we can just change the name of and up the prices till its over, but there is a Taco truck outside in the parking lot that has amazing tacos.

Decor and ambiance was top notch. Food was good. Would recommend to try the fried bread tacos here, they were delicious! Served was very nice but the service was lagging and didn’t get a few items we had ordered.

Service was bad. Food was mediocre. Drink was decent, but pricey.
They are unwilling to split a bill more than 3 ways. In this day and age, it should be an easy thing to do. This caused our group of 8 a lot of stress at the end of the night. Additionally, the waiter barely came to check on our table.
The enchiladas were not very good – the sauce was burnt tasting, and the rice and beans were very bland. My food also came out cold.
The coco moe was really yummy, but the drink was tiny and the cup was 90% ice. $14 for a few sips was not a good value.
We won’t be back. Not sure why they changed names from Kachina to Spotted Donkey, but this place has gone downhill.

Over price with small portions. My non alcoholic mojito (virgin) was more than my spouse’s beer which was $7 and my mojito was $10. Normally, chips and salsa is complimentary but charged $6. Also, would expect the staff to be dressed nicer when the restaurant is inside a high-end hotel.

Four stars for atmosphere & comfort and overall experience. Decent food, really wanted to give it five stars but I could not. Free valet. Great service from our waiter, Nathaniel! Thanks Nathaniel 🙂 We had breakfast: two adults, two kids. We are used to good food; The pancakes were not fresh, they were rubbery but everything else was okay: skillet, chicken sausage, oatmeal, and breakfast burrito. Coffee was good, presentation was excellent. After breakfast you can walk outside to a well-maintained pond, sit and enjoy fresh air with great views.

If you’ve never had a fry bread taco before, definitely order it from Kachina. It’s like a pita, tostada, and taco had a baby. They are both filling and full of flavor. The morita salsa was a bit bland, but I suppose I’d take that over heavily salted ones. My favorite tacos are the Texan and the Pueblo – give those a try!

The service was amazing, the food and drinks were fabulous. My husbands steak was done as he asked and it melted in our mouths. Miranda was so attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit again when we are back in town.
