Authentic Flavors and Generous Portions!
I recently tried Kachiguda Junction in Franklin Park, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The place has a casual, welcoming vibe and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our visit.
We ordered the karivepaku corn, chicken bombhat, Veg Biryani and the Chicken Mandi Biryani, and all dishes were absolutely delicious. The Veg Biryani was bursting with flavor — perfectly cooked basmati rice, aromatic spices, and a nice mix of vegetables that made it light yet satisfying. The Chicken Mandi Biryani was the highlight — tender, juicy chicken with smoky, authentic mandi spices and long-grain rice cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, easily enough for sharing.
What stood out most was the authentic taste — it reminded me of the kind of biryani you’d get back home in Hyderabad. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced, not overly oily or heavy.
Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re craving authentic South Indian-style biryani or just want a hearty, flavorful meal. I’ll be coming back to try more dishes for sure!

Food was good but not great. Some dishes lacked depth in flavor, so there’s definitely room to improve the taste. On the positive side, the service was better—staff were polite, attentive, and made the experience pleasant. With some improvements to the food quality and seasoning, this place could be much better overall.

The food here still slaps. I went back to my favorite loose prawns and they were just as good as ever. The butter chicken with naan really hit the spot. And for the first time, I tried the mutton biryani—wow. The goat meat was tender and full of flavor, and the rice was absolutely delicious. Our server, Shweta, was also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

Been to Kachiguda Junction twice now with my family, and both visits were awesome! We tried a mix of veg and non-veg dishes — everything was super tasty and the portions were generous. The ambience is cozy and welcoming, and those talking murals on the wall are such a fun touch — definitely make the place stand out! Overall, great food, great vibes. Would absolutely recommend it if you’re around Franklin, NJ.

I visited the restaurant with my friends on Valentine’s Day and absolutely loved the ambiance! The whole vibe felt so lively and engaging. The Valentine’s Day booth really stood out for me. It was such a creative and thoughtful way to involve customers and make the experience extra special. It truly added a fun and memorable touch to our visit. ✨

Excellent food, with great flavors in a quiet setting. My friend and I enjoyed our meal, we ordered the cut chilli/mirchi bhajji and Paneer Mandi. Paneer Mandi was something we tried for the first time and were blown away by the burst of flavors without it being overpowering. Friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend, we’ll be visiting more. Thank you!

Had a great experience at this spot. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we ordered hit the mark, and the portions were just right.
HIGHLY recommend the Loose Prawns and Chicken Biryani. Still dreaming about the loose prawns.

The wait time here is on the longer side on weekends, so be prepared for a bit of patience. When we ordered a few items from the menu were unavailable, which was slightly disappointing and we visited around 8.30pm, right on time. Appetizers were decent. The biryanis, fell short on taste and lacked the authenticity—perhaps asking for more spice could help.
Mutton Mandi was authentic, flavorful and absolutely delicious—a must-try dish that stood out from everything else. If the restaurant can keep that same level of consistency, it would be worth going back just for that.

The name itself attracted us to visit! ‘Kachiguda Junction’ reminds us of the famous railway station in Hyderabad (Deccan), India. The ambience is contemporary, decorated with photos of iconic Hyderabad landmarks like Charminar and pictures of famous Telugu film stars. However, we couldn’t find any images of Hyderabad’s founders or the Nizams — which feels a bit incomplete, especially since most dishes on the menu are Mughlai or Deccani, like Biryani, Marag, and Mandi.
We tried the Egg Biryani (since they didn’t have a halal certificate, though they claim to serve halal food), along with Gobi Manchurian and Cut Mirchi. The biryani was a bit spicy — we should’ve asked for mild — but the Cut Mirchi was awesome, and the Gobi Manchurian was quite good too.
One disappointment: they don’t serve tea. With a name like Kachiguda Junction, tea should definitely be part of the menu!

New restaurant on the block. Tried house spl shrimp as recommended by Swetha. We were glad that we tried. It was perfectly seasoned with the right amount spice for mild. Haleem was perfect. Parotta was light and fresh. Ghee roast mandi is perfectly portioned for 2 people to share. Apricot delight was just right ending for the tasty meal.
We tried Egg Roast Biryani and its tasty and good.
