Don’t bother if you want flavor and a selection. Looks good but bland and dry. Barely any selection of food. Golden is down the road.

We walked in on a mid-afternoon meal. We were well greeted by the staff which made us feel right at home. Service was great. For a southern buffet, the food was fresh and plentiful. The chicken was stacked almost eight inches out of the pan. The fried fish was an absolute delight. Neither of these dishes were dry or overcooked. The cooks really know what they are doing. All of the side dishes were good and tasty. As we sat at our table with our hand full of food, I looked back at the buffet line and they were already refilling the fish and chicken. Moderately priced around $15 a person. Highly recommend.

Think white ppl thanksgiving minus a pumpkin pie add greens. Fried chicken is good, crispy skin but not much on flavor. Gumbo in picture wasnt on the buffet when I went. The staff is the absolute best. You can tell the regulars are regularing. The cashier even reminded one customer about his water he gets to go each time. It was very cute.

My family ate on 10/31/2025.Good soul food. Collard greens were excellent. Unfortunately the mac n cheese was refrigerator cold, even though the steam unit was hot. I guess they had just put it on the line. Fried fish and fried chicken very good. Loved the red velvet cake slices. We will eat there again.

We ate the buffet, I started with a salad. I ate a large salad with ranch, they did have a decent lil set of salad fixing options. Need to add to the salad bar options to make it a little better, because it’s the only thing worth eating.
Then to the hot bar. I got 3 chicken fingers, 1 was completely like chewing on ggissle and unedible. One fried green tomato, they were pretty good. The rolls looked apatizing, they were not, They were tough to bite, and extremely dry inside.
Mac n cheese was hot n creamy, mashed were ok. Veggie blend looked terrible so I didn’t try it.
I think it was cheesy, chicken, broccoli and rice bake, it looked very unapatizing, but I tried it and it was ok.
The chicken was not very good, another in my party ate it. This is the 3rd time I’ve ate at this location since they opened. It will be our last. For the times we are in, the price was ok, but if the food isn’t worth going back for, we’ll then the price doesn’t matter.

I’ve been passing by this place for the whole 2 years I’ve been here in Tallahassee and I feel so foolish for not noticing it!! My boyfriend and I went for the first time a few days ago and it was AMAZING! Fried chicken, meatloaf, veggies, even down to the sweet tea was spot on. Me and my family had always been a Golden Corral family but I’ll never go back to Golden Corral again as long as Kacey’s is open! And on top of that, the service was excellent, I wish I would have gotten their names. Just super friendly people serving some really great home cooked southern food. We will be back for sure. Thank you!

First the sweet tea is so good! I had corn bread, mash potatoes & gravy. Chicken is so moist perfectly done. Mac @ cheese, corn, the apple cobbler and banana pudding is a plus. They have a fresh salad bar. The lovely waitress was really nice. The place is so clean and the bathrooms. She said the menu for the meat changes everyday. There is takeout available

Food is always fresh here! I go here for vegetables and they are always good. This is an update. I really love that they have beans and a variety of vegetables. I’m not sure if it’s vegetarian because of the stock, but I do know their food is not salty. This is one of the places I’m going to hate giving up when I’m completely plantbased. As far as decor, it could use an update. It hasn’t been really updated since the last restaurant, and it’s been here for years. Lastly the staff are always good!

went for lunch w a friend and it was a great price for really quality food ! everything was pretty good, the mac n cheese wasn’t my fave but i prefer baked mac, but it was still good ! overall the best to me was definitely the fried chicken, it was super crunchy and delicious ! all the food was very fresh too, they didn’t let anything sit out and get meh. aside from the fried chicken, i loved the desserts ! i tried the yellow cake with chocolate icing, the brownies, and the oreo pudding (i think that’s what it was ?) and they were all suuuuuuper tasty, i went back for seconds of the cake. friendly staff too, overall good vibes n clean place, nice atmosphere. def will be coming back ! 🙂
