Great atmosphere and food, wonderful for celebrations. I was the architect for the addition to the original building years ago and a patron since 1996. Chefs entertain the guests with a show. The additions and renovations included the Japanese Village shy at night in the lobby similar to the one in Christiansburg. The building was expanded to provide more tables and bar to accommodate more guests.

First time here and atmosphere was amazing!!! Staff and chef were very friendly and kept us wanting more! Drinks were delicious and so was the food! There was more than enough to go around! The location and decor really captivates the word “Japanese”! Definitely looking forward to another visit and highly recommend this spot for hibachi lovers!!!

Great place with a great atmosphere and vibe. Chefs are very friendly and funny and put on a show. The food is top tier. You will not find steak more tender than here! I tried the Samurai Steak and I was very pleased. It was definitely one of the most tender steaks I’ve ever had. I would go again and I would recommend for any special occasion!

Party of 5.. Seated at 6:48pm on No show side figured our meals would be quicker.. Only 1 other table in that section. Server didnt get our drink order until 7:17pm, Didn’t receive drink until 7:33pm at that time she did get our meal orders.. Received soup/salads within 10mins but then our food didn’t come out until 8:16pm.. Rice was extremely over cooked and salty, veggies were almost raw and meat was cold.. Never checked on us until 8:40pm to bring the check, never asked to refill drinks or how food was.. we left with no to go boxes and barely eaten food..
Unfortunately we will never be back to this location.. Christiansburg location will have our support from here on out.

Haven’t been here in around a year but it seems like things are going downhill… The servers seemed stressed, and the atmosphere just isn’t what it used to be. The food is almost as good as it used to be. We still miss the bean sprouts.

This rating is for our server, Katie. She served our family, party of 7 adults and 6 kids. She was patient, kind and checked on us regularly and went above and beyond. Our chef was terrible. Food was good but we had a few food allergies and dietary restrictions and he made some rude comments that he didn’t know about them despite them being written down- he realized after the fact. Also, no fun tricks and entertainment for the kids.

The Simple Travels

We haven’t been to Kabuki in over 10+ years, but the experience was just as good as we remember. Our wait staff was very attentive and the chef was fun and interactive. The food was really good as well. Make a point to visit if you ever have the chance.

Delicious dinner!!! I had the soup, salad and shrimp with lobster. The chef was very nice, entertaining and funny. Our waiter Ian was the best we have ever had at Kabuki. He was very attentive and took care of everything quickly. Great customer service all the way around.
