I don’t know if it was just this particular location, but service was dismal, the place was a unkempt (employees’ personal belongings were just scattered in empty tables toward the end of the dining area—where they seated us), and the food was mediocre.
There did not seem to be a floor manager, for starters… and I say that because I had to follow up on two of our orders twice—and the workers I asked didn’t seem to know what to do. I would understand if they were busy, but on this Sunday evening, maybe only 1/3 of their tables were filled… and the ladies out front were just chatting with a friend of theirs.
One of my guests went to use the men’s restroom when we got there and notified one of their employees that they were out of hand soap. When he went back to use it after our meal, they STILL had not refilled their soap dispenser. Trash can was also overflowing at this point.
The food was OK, but JUST OK.. meaning that I wouldn’t really bother coming back here.
All in all, our collective experience was so bad that I just had to leave a review. Let’s just say that I understand why this place only has a B rating.
I tried their “Tonkotsu” ramen… It was alright but it’s not the best I’ve ever tried. Also I had to wait an hour for it.
I placed an online order and tried calling the restaurant 12 times with no answer. When someone finally picked up, she began looking up my order and then hung up on me mid-conversation. No explanation, no apology, nothing.
What makes it even worse is this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this location. At this point, it’s clearly not a mistake — it’s just how they operate.
Completely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend going somewhere else that actually values your time and business.
