I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The service was fast and very friendly, and the staff made us feel welcome. The place was clean, comfortable, and well organized.

The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and excellent service. I will definitely come back again!

Manager and coworkers are friendly and respectful. They have a smile on their face and are kind too. They explain the menu to me so it was easy for me to decide what I really wanted. I ordered steak shawarma with choice of yellow rice and salad and hummus. Please try this option it’s really good. Good and clean place to eat with family. Smells clean and fresh too. Their customer service is excellent and at the same bf they gave us complimentary dessert. That was very nice of them! Thank you Kabob G for your wonderful service and hospitality. Will come again soon InshaAllah.

1/1/26 update:

I finally got to try out the meat and they are awesome. One side says kabobs and the other side you can order more ethnic stuff, but you can just order from one side. I ordered the mixed shawarma wrap (chicken and steak) combo, sfeeha fatayer, and mamounia bel eshta (Syrian dessert). Service is always friendly, they’ll explain the items if you don’t know. My last review for this place was 24 days ago and there was barely anyone here. I’m glad to see that there are people coming in here, since there are not many Syrian restaurants around.

-mixed shawarma combo 5 – this is one of the best shawarmas I’ve ever had. The chicken and steak are equally tender and juicy. I really like the special seasoning. You can also add additional sauces. Don’t sleep on those French fries. They make them crispy, none of that soggy nonsense.
-sfeeha fatayer 5 – this kind of looks like a quesadilla, the sfeeha is minced beef with seasoning. This is a very tasty meat and I highly recommend this.
-mamounia bel eshta 5 – a Syrian dessert. The mamounia is a warm semolina pudding with pistachios and cinnamon. The eshta is a thick, clotted cream with pistachios that you eat along with the mamounia. I ate it separately. There is salty cheese and bread that you eat with them. There’s no wrong way to eat it. You can use the bread to put some of the eshta or salted cheese in it. Alternate between sweet and salty.

Honestly, I wished people posted better looking pictures or more pictures, that way it helps potential new customers looking online. This was my first time trying Syrian food, not my first time trying Middle Eastern food. I ordered falafels, cheese fatayer, and zaatar saj. Prices were very cheap and you got a generous amount of food. Service was very helpful and friendly. A lot of seating inside. The parking lot is in a shared plaza, it’s across from Panda Express. You can easily miss the turn. I came here in the morning, and the gentleman told me they don’t serve meat during breakfast time. No problem, I’ll have to come back again for dinner.

-falafels 5 – I don’t usually eat falafels but these were made fresh. Moist inside and crispy on the outside.
-cheese fatayer 5 – the bread was soft but firm. I liked the cheese in the middle. Next time, I’ll have to order it with sfeeha. I believe it’s a meat pie.
-zaatar saj 5 – it’s a spice blend with toasted sesame seeds and sumac. I didn’t know until later that you can eat it with olive oil (there are bottles on the table). Interesting taste since I’ve never had this before.

Hello there, Dom here your local Chicago guide. I tried out Kabob G a couple times now and the food especially the breakfast was great, haven’t had good mamounieh in a while and this one hit the spot (this is a must try) Highly recommend trying the fatteh and foul (only available on weekends) and of course the manakeesh which is available everyday. For lunch or dinner my personal favorite is the Syrian style sheesh tawook. This place is the new hidden gem of town. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is great and hospitable. The food quality is very good and the portions and sizes are very generous and prices are great.

First time I enjoyed a Mediterranean place in Chicago suburbs area. My chicken shawerma bowl was incredible. The chicken is fresh, hot, and seasoned. Service was fantastic. It’s clean from the inside. Just perfect over all. So glad it’s in the Willowbrook area!
