Food was delicious! Our favorite Persian place, and we’ve been to other Persian restaurants in nyc, and this is far better! We’ve been to the Cliffside park location and this is our first time at the Rutherford location. And our server Sara was so sweet and helpful. We will be back!

The portions were a bit small, and the food took longer than expected to arrive, but overall the experience was still pleasant.

I went with my family, it was 9:00 pm when we arrived ( the restaurant is supposed to closed at 10:00pm) so when we arrived the girl who attend us, explained to us that the kitchen will be closed at 9:30 but that we have until 10:00 pm to eat…. Everything fine there…
At 9:20 pm she approached to my father and ask him to pay the bill first. We continued eating lbecause and, at 9:30pm she ask us if we need a container to take the rest of the food that we haven’t finished yet because she was about to clean out table and closing the restaurant (even though that she before told us that we have until 10:00pm to eat) I was still eating and she start taking the plates and everything of our table. I couldn’t finish my plate, I feel upset and we just ended up standing up and leaving the restaurant at 9:32 pm. Honestly the food was amazing, but the services was awful and disrespectful..

They were there on Friday around 9:10 at this place, and that woman you see there in the photo was really unpleasant. I arrived with my son to pick up an order I had already placed through Grubhub, and the woman refused to give it to me, saying the restaurant was already closed and doing so with a really nasty attitude. So I immediately took my son and we left. And I told her yes, that I had already placed an order through Grubhub. She argued with me several times saying no, until I said, “I’m seeing my name on the screen and there’s my name.” She went to the kitchen and then started having a really unpleasant attitude. That was the moment I decided to leave. It’s so sad that they have this kind of person working at that place.Then the woman started yelling at me, and I did the same. What an incredibly unpleasant woman.

I’ve dined in and picked up food from Kabob on the Cliff many times, and I love it every time! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Sara, the lady who works there, is super nice and helpful and her recommendations are always spot-on! The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite spots for delicious Middle Eastern food!

The food was delicious! Sara was our waitress, she suggested the Kabob Combo for two, which gave us a taste of their kabobs. For dessert, she recommended the saffron and rosewater ice cream, such a unique experience and cozy atmosphere. The service she provided was amazing, would highly recommend coming back for the food and service!
