Came here for a quick dinner with some of my girlfriends after my wedding dress fitting, and it was the perfect spot. The lobster bisque was absolutely delicious, and the menu offered plenty of variety with lots of great options to choose from. We each tried different chef selections, and everyone loved both their food and drinks. I especially appreciated the thoughtful mocktail menu for anyone not drinking but still wanting something special. The service was friendly and very attentive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely go back!

Kabin Kruser’s in downtown Rochester has a chill, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to unwind. The nautical décor and cozy layout give it that classic oyster bar feel, even if you’re not here for the oysters.
The food was excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. We tried a few dishes from the menu and everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, even on a busy evening.
If you’re looking for a laid-back place with great seafood and solid drinks, this is definitely worth a visit.

Had terrible meal. Dry overcooked salmon. Fish and chips had fries that were so tiny. Like bottom of a bag.
Last time we had meals that were just average but decided to try again. No more. Happy hour with calamari is good but not the best place for a dinner.

We loved the vibe of Kabin Kruser’s and our server Morgan H was phenomenal! She was friendly, attentive, and so sweet. It truly made our experience even more enjoyable! The oysters and mussels are fantastic and reasonably priced compared to other places. We will definitely be back! Thanks, Morgan!

If you enjoy seafood, salads and other cuisine, I can highly recommend Kabin Kruiser’s Oyster Bar on Main Street in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
My wife and I enjoy visiting this establishment on Friday or Saturday around 3:00pm, which is a time we can find a place to sit at the bar and order food and beverage. I LOVE the steamer pot and my wife enjoys the rainbow beet salad with a grilled chicken breast.
The staff are friendly and accommodating and we enjoy the dining experience followed by a walk along Main Street where we can find a wide variety of stores to window shop or find items we need to purchase locally.
I think you may enjoy this venue as well. Give them a try if you are hungry and/or would like to sample a beverage or two.

Went on probably the busiest day of the year (downtown Rochester Christmas lighting). Crazy busy every where. Very reasonable wait time, hostess was spot on with estimate. Service and food were excellent despite the rush of people.

Crab cakes are the size of mini muffins. Hostess was not very friendly and seem annoyed to do her job. I ordered water with lemon, got lemon but no water had to ask 3 times. We are part of Kruses DC and they usually ask if we are celebrating anything and nothing this time. They weren’t busy so im not sure why the service and friendly place has gone down the drain.

This place is a medium-sized restaurant. It is a bit tight, but this actually adds to the atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the food was terrific. I plan i’m going back with friends very soon. The prices are very fair and competitive to restaurants of similar quality.

Visited last night for annual Christmas gathering and was so disappointed. We ordered the lobster tacos for $30 which were so deep fried that we couldn’t taste anything inside. Mentioned to waiter with no reply. Have always went for our anniversary as it was a first date place but seriously questioning at this point.
