Amazing women who run this place! So kind and eager to share delicious Senegalese food. The Fataya meat pies were phenomenal, plus the eggplant accompaniment.

Went to the food hall location, which was kinda very dim inside during the day. Service was very welcoming and accommodating.

Fataya was pretty good. Ample filling and not at all dry.

Thiebou Yapp and Mafe Yapp were very both very tender and flavorful. Thiebou Yapp might have a bit too much maggi in my friend’s opinion, but I thought it was fine.

Last night I was at Stage 722 for an event and didn’t realize the food pods were closing as the event was starting. Kabba’s was super gracious and made me a big meal. I felt lucky to have been the last order taken care of on a night when I was rushing and didn’t have time to make dinner. Thank you!

First time experiencing some Senegalese and Gambian style food. I’m definitely glad to try something new. The chicken yassa was very tasty. The way the chicken is marinated deficient packed a lot of flavors. The Mafe Yapp reminded me of a beef curry type that I’ve had in the past. The Fataya (meat pies) and the Nems (egg rolls) were surprisingly good. I think I can definitely eat these all day long. Also, to wash it down, try their ginger drink. If you are looking for something new, check them out.

Saw this place in Portland Monthly and knew I needed to try it. I think the food is from Somalia but I could be mistaken. But what a fun food experience.
Don’t be fooled by the pictures on the cart. All the food we had was exceptional. And the #1 was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

Kabba’s is wonderful and we have been fans since they were on Alberta. Their food is so great here, including especially the lamb and jollof dish. The people are so friendly and welcoming and it is a great experience all around. Highly recommend.

The menu is loaded with many different types of options that will keep you wanting to come back and try something new! And there homemade hibiscus and ginger drinks are a must! The location is very accessible and has plenty of street parking as well as a parking lot directly next to it. Very clean and organized and you can smell the food a Mile away!

Located in the Heist pod – I just sampled but it was delicious. The owner is super friendly and engaging. I struggle with spicy food first meal so I’m coming back.

Food here is fresh, well prepared with generous portions, great value. Courteous staff. Try the whole fish or the lamb with French fries (what a great combination) absolutely delicious. I almost forgot… The Ginger juice, it’s a sweet flavorful drink with the right kick of the spiciness from the natural ginger root.

The lady was really nice, the food was SUPER bomb, and the ambiance was nice, it’s actually a small food village with several other exotic food choices. This is the one I’ve been to, and I’ll be going back. It was good, and African cuisine isn’t exactly easy to find around here. This is my new spot tho! TRY THE PLANTAINS
