I had taco salad and it was okay. I was disappointed that they used iceberg lettuce.
It was basically just lettuce, beef, cheese,salsa and sour cream in an edible bowl topped with a hunk of tomato that I had to cut up in order to eat it.
It tasted good but not the wow factor I was hoping for.
My friend ordered a meal and it was good and good portions. Still not the wow factor though. For the price it all should be better.
The atmosphere and servers were very nice.

This place used to be called “El Patrón”. Back in the 80s it was “Master Pizza”!! Anyway, there is a large covered outside dining area that is very nice, but closed for winter. Inside, as soon as you walk in is the bar to your left with the dining room straight ahead. Upon walking in you’re immediately seated and a server is ready to take drink orders and brings an appetizer of nachos. The food is fantastic as is the service. It’s Mexican food, and it’s NOT “Taco Bell” Mexican Food…this place is the real deal and you get amazing food with very “healthy'” portions, and I can’t imagine anyone leaving here hungry. It’s a nice atmosphere and gives a definite “Mexican vibe”. Highly recommended!!

Wonderfully friendly, a great atmosphere and the food is delicious! Although we were planning on going to Mary Yodas, I’d failed to plan for it being a Sunday, so it was shut.

The food was above and beyond outstanding. The presentation as well as the taste. We were so impressed. I can’t believe we have this here in Middlefield. And we got out of there with a bill under $40! Heck fast unhealthy food is that much anymore. Take a look at the food pictures I attached. I can’t wait to go again.

Kaballos has one of the largest Mexican menus I’ve come across. So far, everything I’ve ordered, including burritos and enchiladas, has been great. Large portions, fast and fresh. Staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean and welcoming. It’s nice to add a reliably good restaurant to the area and with a menu this large you’re sure to find an old favorite or a something new.

We dine here often. Great outdoor seating area with beautiful flowers, unique inlaid tile tables and carved chairs. Food is always great with chips and salsa for starters.

In the area on a Friday night, craving (as usual) Mexican food. Was taken by locals to El Patron, which they said was a favorite of theirs. The staff seemed to know them, which was cool. They ordered their usual, which included (see photo) something called a Volcano. Pretty impressive!
I ordered an entree which included one chicken and one beef burrito, I wish I’d checked to confirm shredded beef because I got ground beef, which was in a dark red sauce and terrible. I took one bite, and when the waiter asked if everything was ok, I gestured to the pushed-aside plate and said ‘no, that was not good’ but he smiled and went away. Shrug.
The chicken burrito was excellent, so I’ll give them a pass and order more carefully next time.
The tortilla chips need work. They were thick, dry, unsalted, and easy to skip. Try that anywhere else, you just can’t usually leave them alone. Friday night you sure could.
Might try again, but will be wary of what I order and not afraid to ask for freshly made tortilla chips.

Here on a Tuesday specials tacos 1 order beef & 1 chicken 3 for 5 dollars they were the best wife got chillies rellano large serving chillies were this time but you never know be prepaid pitcher of lime margarita yum greatesl great server way to go .
