Kabab & Naan in Brookhaven is officially one of my new favorite spots.
We ordered the lamb curry, vegetable momos, kababs, naan, and rice, and everything tasted fresh and made with care.
The lamb curry was rich, thick, and full of deep spices. The lamb was tender and fell apart easily in the sauce. It had that slow-cooked flavor that lets you know it wasn’t rushed. Perfect with the fluffy rice and warm naan.
The vegetable momos were a great surprise — soft dumplings packed with seasoned veggies and served with a flavorful dipping sauce that had a little kick. Definitely something I’d order again.
The kababs were juicy with a nice char on the outside and full of flavor inside. The fresh herbs and lemon on top really elevated them.
The naan was warm, soft, and slightly crisp on the edges — ideal for scooping up that curry.
Everything tasted authentic, halal, and well-seasoned without being overwhelming. Generous portions too.
If you’re anywhere near Brookhaven and craving real Indian/Pakistani food, this spot is absolutely worth it.
Will definitely be back.
My husband was not overly excited about trying new Indian food. He has his favorite spot (Maryland) and his local spot that is a place holder until his next Maryland drive. I literally prayed that it would be good because he was breaking his fast for the evening and I could not make dinner.
(3) entrees and two appetizers. A bit pricey but the portions and flavor are worth it. Everything was amazing!
Im also vegan and the menu is very vegan friendly. They even outline what menu items can be made vegan. We will absolutely be back!
We were excited to try this new spot since it was closer to the media area. But we’re disappointed when we brought home the food. We had ordered hara bara kebab, Shahi Paneer and mango chicken and an assorted bread basket. The sauces were just made with cream and had no authentic flavor. The rice was not cooked, we found some uncooked grains of rice. I guess they were out of hara bara kebab so they gave us 2 samosas instead and they never bothered to call us or let us know during the pick up. The assorted bread basket just contained naan and no assorted varieties. Do not recommend this spot.
