The owner need to be around to take care of his business, I saw the worker watching a video to make the salad. The Fatoush was super salty for almost $10 and its not worth $3. I ended up throwing the fatoush away. I did try other stuff the last two times and also chicken was too dry and rice was moist. Only thing was ok was the Fries but who doesnt get that right.

I have tried to give this restaurant 3 separate tries (upon first opening, 6 months ago, and today). Unfortunately each time the food and customer service was mediocre at best. The gentleman taking my order kept trying to upsell me, and while I get it, don’t get an attitude because I don’t want all the extras. The flavors just aren’t there in my opinion. It’s unfortunate because I love the cuisine typically. This place really needs to step it up.

I’m Lebanese, based in San Diego, and was visiting Charlotte, NC for a week on business with coworkers. We were craving Lebanese food, and Kabab2Go had encouraging ratings. Since we were short on time, we decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The portions were mostly bread with a low amount of protein, and the overall flavor was below average. For anyone familiar with authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, this would fall far short of expectations.
The pricing was also hard to justify. We spent nearly $90 and it barely fed three people. During our stay in Charlotte, we had multiple sit-down meals averaging around $20 per person, yet these to-go wraps ended up costing more, and they even want more to give us a couple extra sauces!
Based on taste, portion size, and value, I would rate this place no higher than a 2/10.

Staff was nice and helpful. Only three stars mainly because the chicken was very dry, like it was cooked twice or microwaved, and prices are on the high side compared to this type of food. Meat shawarma wrap was v delicious though.

We sat at the bar. We ordered the lamb kabob plate and split it. Jo got the green sauce and the hot sauce. These are 99cents extra. They are worth it. The rice and salad were great sides. The amount of lamb was perfect for us to split. Just the right amount of food.

I ordered the falafel rice and salad meal for lunch and it was no good at all! The falafel literally tastes like fried air. No seasoning at all! The rice and salad was ok but pretty bland. When I went to let the cashier (Santos V) know about my food, he proceeded with a snarky remark saying “oh ok I’ll give you a refund you Sonny have to come screaming”. I addressed him kindly initially and let him know that my food was nasty but before I could ask them to remake, he said his remark and refunded me. He then started snickering with two African American men who seemed to work at monarch market. He was dismissive and rude when I asked for proof of the refund. Needless to say I will not be retuning. Bad food and bad attitudes!

The wrap itself was pretty good, but there were constant up-charges. I also had no clue about the service fee until I checked my bank statement. That seems a bit unnecessary when they also have the tip screen in front of you when you pay. The service itself wasn’t worth tipping since the guy making the wrap seemed to have an attitude and made it clear that he was not at all interested in being there.

Lucky went above and beyond with his service! He made sure we were well taken care of. My father loved the lamb and the falafel was sooo good too. The hummus was TO DIE far and the portions were well worth the price! He even asked if we needed any extra pita. The baklava was also packaged so beautifully and was so delicious. We could not recommend this place more! Outstanding and fantastic place.

This was the driest chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. This was my first time eating here and I asked them if it came with fries. They said it’s in the wrap. I found two fries at the bottom of the wrap. What a rip off. Go to Le Kabob in university if you want a good shawarma.

This place is inside the Monarch Market along with other food vendors. The food was very flavorful and good portions. The service was good but it did seem like it took awhile for our food to be ready, so not sure if this would be good choice if you are in a rush to get somewhere. Stop by the bar and have a drink otherwise. We will be back to try more things.
